At least they aren’t packaged each with the plastic wrap.

I’m using Sync for lemmy and another Sync for reddit thanks to ReVanced.
I used to do this, effectively it confused my brain of which platform I was at at the moment lol.
Anyway not anymore since Sync for Lemmy is so busted to me in my instance (not even showing upvotes for example) and the dev has been absent for so long that I am already using another app (my personal favorites are Summit, Voyager and Boost).
I always try to use Lemmy, but Reddit is always more attractive to me because:
The Sync for Reddit app works way better than Sync for Lemmy (I understand there are a lot of clients for Lemmy, which is good, but my brain got so used to it that I always struggle with other apps).
I never used Reddit to browse mainstream media (like r/all) I always browse subreddits I liked and created multi subreddits of them, some examples of them:
Handhelds (SBCgaming, 3DS, PsVita, nds, PSP etc).
Media (Piracy, Arr stack, Stremio add-ons, Kodi add-ons etc).
As you can see none of those communities or similar are particularly big, so I think they have entirely enshitified… (Maybe just r/piracy lol).
Thanks to my allergies I can sneeze with my eyes open, (I don’t close them all the way) I remember people saying that was not possible?
With that reduced amount of “me time” (he/she time?) I bet OP wouldn’t understand videogame references /s
No, I prefer my 2020 phone over my 2014 one… But maybe that is not entirely what you want to mean in your post.
You don’t need to upgrade your “tech” yearly though.
if I watch a movie or doomscroll on Lemmy
Are you telling me we really made Lemmy that good to be as good bad as Reddit? 🤯
Yeah, many of us hoard a lot of tabs, for the better for worse, but even after some simple web searches you can gather a lot of links quickly, so it is always handy to have a good tab management.
Well, if my memory serves well, Ublock Origin has been in Firefox mobile for a long time already but I get you.
Although even before I did the switch I rarely saw ads on Google because I have always used DNS ad blocking (whether using my pi-hole or AdAway root version) but yeah Ublock Origin is just so much better.
Nah, my device is not high end, but it ships with a SD 865, and 6 GB of RAM.
Have you used Chrome recently? It is just a better experience with Android, except because of the ads and shitty Google’s hand lol.
It feels so good to have your grouped tabs always accessible at the bottom and you can quickly switch just by tapping the little icon.
What issues are you running into?
Tab management is plain bad, and the UI doesn’t feel snappy as, let’s say, Cromite or Chrome.
All those are paid off because of the extension ability in Firefox.
Have you tried to debloat your phone?
I feel like I have seen this news since forever, I am happily living my life with Firefox… Although the android mobile really needs some love.
I remember my colleague days when I stopped using USBs in favor of Dropbox, I felt I was living in the future.
Do you have this in your exemptions?
Add this in your exemptions and test it.
Are you using a Pi Hole or any tool that blocks ads though the DNS?
Short answer: yes.
Medium answer: yes because I want to not use Sync for Reddit to get into anime, Plex/Kodi/Stremio/Real Debrid/Arr stack, and handhelds communities.
I could care less about trending shit and reels reposting… But that is the downside of exponential growth I guess.
I’d love that it had the feature that Feeder has to fetch incomplete RSS articles and put them in a nice view… Only because of that I have used Feeder more as of lately (still Feedly is my main RSS source).
I do not know if that is better or worse, but that is something definitely.
