I keep a Windows 11 installer USB on my person almost at all times. I’ve had to perform an impromptu utilman.exe trick (consensually) multiple times. (Replacing the ease of access menu EXE with a command prompt somehow still allows you to get an administrator CMD window on the lock screen, even in 2026).
I’m pretty sure that’s actually true.
I also have an odd one! My left hand does all the work and I ONLY use my right index finger. Maybe sometimes my middle one. I regularly score >140wpm so I don’t see a need to change it.
It was alright
It’s a game where you get dropped in a random place on Google street view, and you have to pinpoint where you are on a map. Pretty fun!
Does an annual payment for a domain name count? If so, it’s about 13 euro a year I think.

I do! I have a pretty good relationship with both my parents, but when I was around 9 years old I felt weird calling them by this “special” name unlike everybody else. They don’t seem to mind?
Terminal can have multiple tabs, multiple different processes (so you can have a powershell and a cmd running in different tabs) and better WSL support AFAIK. It’s wt in the Run dialog. (I’m pretty sure typing “cmd” now just opens a cmd window in terminal too)

The fire alarm collecting community is larger than you might expect. I first got one recommended to me on New Year’s of a guy setting off all 20 or so of his linked fire alarms when the clock struck midnight. He needed hearing protection the next room over.
On the context menu: I’ve been using Nilesoft Shell for a few years now and it’s been wonderful. It’s got all the options from Windows 10 plus a few more in the Windows 11 style.

Milk, eggs, and cashews. Not lactose intolerant, and I always have to remind people that there’s a difference. I haven’t had an allergic reaction since I was 6 years old, mostly because I always avoid eating out. Too many people to trust!
