  • It is even worse, since LLMs talk back like that, which probably encourages people to be like that. I had to use one to solve a Linux problem, for which I could not get help any other way, and it was just awful. I do not want the agent to spout useless phrases like a human, it just wastes so much time to read them, when you have to figure out are the answers even close to being useful. Maybe I could have prompted it to just reply more efficiently, but I tried to keep the usage minimal anyway. That discussion made me sound more like the robot. “Blahblah not working” “Oh I’m so sorry you are having this problem. Lets start with…”
    Fucking awful.

  • Ehh, I have not found much help in the communities. You get couple answers shrugging, and nobody knows how to help you. I would also rather just read from a wiki, or something, since human interactions are so exhausting even online to this autistic idiot, but then I lack the technical knowledge (and language terms) to understand what I am even looking for in there.

In the end that lead me troubleshooting (and fixing) the problem using AI - which is kind of fucked up somehow, I would rather not. But a totally non-linux-understanding person could not have done that either, since it still required quite a bit of knowledge, to understand which terminal commands were correct, and would do even close to, what was claimed.

  • Rant incoming! Their biggest failure is making people fear for themselves and their families, by those massive cuts in welfare and healthcare, and then even literally laughing about it.

That tanked the home economy, as basically now everyone who can is saving, since if the safety nets are not working, you have to build them for yourself. The ones that have plenty, are investing them, which means that money is mostly flowing out of the country. And the cuts in welfare took the money directly out of the system, as people who need it would use all of it in everyday stuff, like food - and now they have less to use. Cuts to healthcare and social services cause people’s problems getting worse, which then costs a lot more, as people drop out of workforce, have to have more expensive surgeries, children protective services and police are needed more etc.
And raising the prices people have to pay for healthcare means, a lot of people cannot afford to see the doctor until their problems get way worse, and that raises the expenses even more as well.
And forcing people to rely on toimeentulotuki (the absolute last line of welfare) costs a lot more than what it would cost without, already just because the system has to process all the applications every month, not to mention how it forces people to be passive and makes it really hard to improve their situation.
And the complete removal of the small amount you can earn before the unemployment money gets cut, means people will not take the small gigs, which again means less money flowing in the system, and people getting more and more passive, and having to rely on toimeentulotuki instead.
And… the list just gets longer, the more these idiots manage to wreck havoc, with their ideological bullshit, and ignoring scientific results.

Unless we get a government, that does not have any of the money worshipping morons in there, the situation will not improve. They have to fix what was broken: somehow manage to convince people, they do not need to fear, or the doom spiral will just get worse and worse. People have to trust they will not lose everything the moment they get sick or lose their jobs, for things to actually work.

  • I would do a bug theme too! But instead you would just walk into some weird shitty park, that has not been taken care of, and has grown all wild. The tall grasses would be filled with low level bug pokemon, but no trainers. Once you get through them, you would find a shed, that looks like it has been build out of trash. And then I would wake up mumbling and get out, looking like a weird hobo bug catcher, with a straw hat and flip flops, and holding a patched net. I would do some weird ranting speech, about how nobody cares about the nature anymore, and how all lawns should be banished and grow wild.
My team would then be moderately leveled bug pokemon, maybe a leavanny and a scolipede, and two metapods for some reason. And after you would have beaten me, I would tell you should let your lawn grow out, and then give you a badge, that looks to be a lid of a tincan, picked from a trash pile, and cut and bend into a really bad flower shape. I would go back to sleep in the shitty shed, and you would leave, unsure about how to feel about all that.

Oh, and the storyline would continue, that after you have beaten some more difficult gyms, and the plot brings you back to that town, you would find a brand new park on the site the shitty park was, with very tidy grass and all. And when talking to locals, they would just say stuff, like “The old park was really ugly” and “Oh, the homeless person? Who knows where they went”. Then later in the game you would come to an orchard, with a farmer telling you, it has been taken over by pokemon, and asking can you go in and see, if you can find a reason they are there, since he is terribly afraid of bugs.
And so you go in there, and find the grass has already grown a lot, and there are tons and tons of low level bug pokemon everywhere. Deep in the orchard you would encounter a barely standing tent, and find me sleeping inside. I would only say “Zzz… The gym is closed, come back later…” without waking up. So you would have to go back to the farmer, and tell them, you think the bugs came from the old park. And they would be all “Oh… I guess they have no other place to go now… how terrible…”

And then if you would go back in the town after beating all the gyms in the area, you would find the new park has its grass overgrown, and flowers been planted everywhere, and people walking around happily, and bugs buzzing around. Townspeople would say stuff like “I did not realize wild grass could be so pretty!” and “It’s good all the bugs have a home again”. And you would find me sleeping in a brand new toolshed, still looking like a homeless person and saying just the same thing about the gym being closed.

  • Ah… Figured as much, thanks for the answer. I got the pressure to work, yeah, but it was greatly reduced, and too laggy to actually use with the pen. I am now stuck with Windows 10, as I cannot get enough functionality from Linux distros, and there is no way I will deal with the dumpster fire Windows 11 is. Unfortunately, there are no other proper, portable computer + display good enough to draw -combinations on the market than SPs, still. At least ones I could afford…
