I am going to sound super mainstream, but the only album of 2025 that I have listened to multiple times is Hurry Up Tomorrow by The Weeknd. Not his best work, but still a great ride with some absolute bangers.
I mostly listen to older music or am late to the party with more recent stuff :).
How are fake artists able to add songs to real artists profile? I’d assume it would be impossible for me to make a fake The Weeknd song and add it to Spotify?
As for new artists that get recommended, a quick search should be able to make it clear if an artist is a real person / group no? With tour dates or pictures and stuff?
I love a good old over the top love song. Don’t get me wrong, realistic songs about real life romantic relations are awesome, but I love a world where something like this exists :).
I just want to bump this as this is one of the funniest films I’ve seen in my life. Try and watch it with others who appreciate surreal weird films. Absolutely sublime.

The songs on this album are all good, but as a whole, this is one of my favorite albums ever. I’m not even really into this genre (rap / hiphop…) but the story it tells and the way it delivers is so human and recognizable that it is ingrained in my soul forever.
Life, falling in and out of love, friends, doubts, it is all delivered in such a pure and honest way. The final song is just the cherry on top and has one of the biggest catharsis moments in any music.
