Technology@lemmy.world•China's latest flying car prototype showcases a breakthrough in urban air mobility, offering a glimpse into how low-altitude flight could soon integrate with everyday transport.English
161·1 year agoThese should only be allowed in ordinary flight zones, far away from any buildings it may smash into.
The CPC will likely never approve of anything similar to this anywhere near residential, industrial or commercial zones due to the danger it represents
Plus, the use of these flying cars are essentially the same as Helicopters

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
3·1 year agoYeah, I wonder how that happened, why did manga never make it to phones as scrolling comics just like manhwa and manhua?
Either way, I enjoy manhwa and manhua, especially phoenix rise above evil, hero killer and the knight only lives today, Mangas are difficult to read on phones so I never really gave them a try funnily enough.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
2·1 year agoManhua seem to be very crowded with competitors leading to some only focusing on niches and abandoning everything else
A manhua I’ve been reading is 48 hours a day. Title intrigued me, so I gave it a try.
Spoiler alert: He was given an extra 24 hours a day, but nothing comes from it. the story was where I was drawn in, because there was a manwha that I used to read (before it got canned) that used the same premise
This shows that the Chinese manhua market is extremely condensed, and it’s no wonder why it would have bad content as a result when everyone attempts to compete…

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
61·1 year agoYeah, the two remaining are usually vertical scrolling colored comics that are read in a similar way to manga, but on phones instead.
Manhua and manwha is basically the same. Their meaning is basically the same as manga. Maybe you would know it better as webtoons

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
1·1 year agowhen reading, I either need images or voices, so rather than reading books I generally pick up audio books or comics.
The few times I read an actual book I make myself a graphical representation, I have a few folders on obsidian with pictures to help me visualise and remember stuff, it helps.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
1·1 year agoYeah, if physical books are your thing manga is 100% your best choice, manwha adapted to books look awkward as fuck, see ‘sweet home’ as an example
Manwha is best experienced on a phone.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
5·1 year agoI misread titles as ‘titties’
I seperate them because I wanted to know what people think about Manwha, and manhua and manwha is nearly identical in how they are presented (phone, scrolling image, colored comics)

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's your opinion on manga, manwha, and manhua?
2·1 year agoManga is super easy to read on a whim nowadays, passes the time, you can check out Kotatsu on the web to check out for like 5minutes
it looks cool and I can get back to developing software I abandoned when I have a better commit history
I commit far too little, and I don’t use branches so all my FEAT and FIX and DOC are mixed up, and I… Oh yeah I could just do add, and commit each of them separately… Damn.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What app is so useless, you can't believe it costs money?
126·1 year agoReal Debrid
Touted as necessary when it isn’t, apparently if you have it you have access to a huge cache that you can use to continue to torrent dead files
The issue is that most files nowadays are torrented anyway, so it’s essentially just a ‘do it because I told you so’ step for torrentio users.
Other torrent streaming software don’t even need real Debrid.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If money was not an issue, is there a movie, series, or a video game you would fund as a passion project with no intention on making a profit on it?
4·1 year agoMovie series based on a DND world of ours

What do you mean you don’t? Has everything I heard in Cuba, China and Africa been a lie?
