4·8 months agoJumping on here. The answer is indeed Asus.
I went through 2 TP-Link devices in as many years. Been using this Asus RT-AC86U for 7 years and counting now with no issues.

Technology@lemmy.world•Australian anti-porn group claims responsibility for Steam's new censorship rules in victory against 'porn sick brain rotted pedo gamer fetishists', and things only get weirder from thereEnglish
12·11 months agoand uh, if you actually did read my comment, I did say consenting. me saying I enjoy content where clear adults are consentually enjoying sex is not endorsing rape fantasy games, and is a bit of a Twitter ass conclusion to come to.
The article you commented on is explicitly referencing media where consent cannot be given. So, I’m not sure why you commented about consenting adults in the first place, because that had nothing to do with the topic.

Technology@lemmy.world•Australian anti-porn group claims responsibility for Steam's new censorship rules in victory against 'porn sick brain rotted pedo gamer fetishists', and things only get weirder from thereEnglish
14·11 months agoThis comment and many like it are a product of only reading the headline. Also shame on the authors for the ragebait headline.
The tweet the quote comes further classifies that they’re talking about games that include rape, incest, and/or child sex abuse. I’m not sure if people are just knee-jerk reacting to headlines without understanding what’s actually happening, or if they are legitimately upset that rape fantasy games are being removed. In both cases, you’re stating that you are vocally in support of rape media, which is not OK.

It’s on the front page of GoFundBee!
I swear, it’s not long ago that people were touting that we could finally have decent microtransactions in games thanks to blockchain
Sorry that this is really what caught my attention, but when did anyone ever think this?
That’s a cascade. Capitalism represents an aesthetic and intellectual approach that values reason, order, and balance, drawing inspiration from the enduring legacy of ancient Greece and Rome.

Holy hyperbole, Batman! If you’re not posting like an edgy teenager then reddit is decently usable.
The insane reactionary takes against reddit on Lemmy are getting really tiring. Come on, guys.

155·1 year agoDo you live under a rock? She’s possibly the most popular female country singer (after Dolly Parton) and the 2nd most well-known American Idol winner (after Kelly Clarkson).
I mean, she’s dead to me along with Snoop Dogg after all of this but by no means is she a nobody.
The original comment that garnered a one word response wasn’t mine. Thanks though.
You’re right, it’s not an argument. But it’s a perfectly sufficient reply to a one-word question that doesn’t properly provide an argument of its own.
Ever hear of the prisoner’s dilemma?

Technology@lemmy.world•Mark Zuckerberg says anyone who quits Meta is 'virtue signaling'English
38·1 year agoAh yes, the feed starting with an ad, followed by a reels module alternating between soft porn and dogs, followed by bots and more ads, maybe interspersed with a couple of posts by people whose names I recognize for good measure, are well worth my time. No need to virtue signal, I’m hooked!

1414·1 year agoThe good news is that the main contingent of people upset about TikTok getting banned have willingly rotted away their attention spans (ironically, through TikTok) to do anything meaningful about it. The moment they realize being mad takes effort they’ll find something else to do.
