How big is your dog?!
If we can recycle single use plastic into this, then great. Somehow I doubt that’s how it would be made.
Look into Telo trucks. Modern, electric, safe, small. I know they haven’t launched yet, but i have high hopes they get everyone rethinking their pickup choices.
I mean, they’re called a tree, but they’re an overgrown cactus. They don’t get very big and don’t have near the carbon capture something like a pine does. But there are plenty of areas of just scrub brush better suited for this project.
Umm maybe it’s stubbornly popular because devices running it can’t be updated. My OG surface book (a Microsoft flagship device for awhile) is great hardware, but can’t update to 11. My gaming laptop is even better hardware but doesn’t meet the win11 requirements. Because they are sealed devices. I literally couldn’t if I wanted to.
Kind of love and hate that their website doesn’t explicitly say what it does. Like, if you can’t figure it out, you probably shouldn’t do it, even their GitHub is a bit dodgy on what the software is for, you can figure it out, but it’s never explicitly stated what it’s specifically meant for. “We help you install old versions of the app who must not be named” kinda bullshit.
Good God, your utility company isn’t even using lube when they fuck you with a rusty shovel. Without solar, my time off use plan would make it $0.08/kWh. With solar I don’t even bother figuring out what my cost per mile is because it’s irrelevant till I need a fast charger. I don’t even pay $0.50/kWh at a fast charger usually. I’d be going with a full off-grid solar battery system if I were you. Charging my neighbors cars for free before selling a joule back to those assholes
From what I’ve seen John Leguizamo doesn’t really repeat himself as an actor though. The styles are completely different so maybe he would repeat the character but I just don’t really see it happening. Great actor though, deserves more accolades.
Read the article, it’s pretty clear who the author targets as the villain here. I haven’t verified the accuracy of it, but taking them at their word: management and the GOP that let requirements of who is guaranteed OT pay dwindle. This restores what Obama did that was then dismantled by right wing judges and Trump.
I think it has the potential of being a stepping stone, in first restoring who gets OT, to later push hours reduction before OT kicks in.
WTF happened to Microsoft? What a fall. Is this a leadership thing?
Why does the article only mention Google? I know yahoo had its heyday already, but they are still a common email platform and made the same requirements at the same time as Google.
“We cheated so hard and still lost! They had to have stolen it!”
Hope this applies to cars as well. Bust a taillight in your Ford and get your own replacement, you still have to have a dealer configure the integrated BLISS sensor.
Bernie was running in the primaries? Did he do any campaigning? If so none of it reached here.
Why are people going to show up for a primary that doesn’t matter? There was literally nothing else on our ballot in AZ so there wasn’t much point.
Transferability, and I have some hearing issues so the loss of quality vs lossless audio is unnoticeable to me.
CD is the best answer IMO. I get why people like vinyl, but what they refer to as “warm tone” I hear as just static noise and pops. It’s a hell of a lot harder to rip tracks from vinyl to digital versions. Cassettes were always terrible, but they were portable. CDs sucked in cars or worse yet workouts, but being able to easily convert them to MP3 solves that nicely. CD is the best long term source storage, and like you said rerip them if your digital files get screwed up in some way.
It’s kinda part of the job. Several times in my career I’ve put in months of effort on projects that then get canned for various reasons. One of them was 100% complete. No real big deal, it’s still a good billet on my resume.
How is this not an onion article?
