That happens all the time with Python. It often shows me errors in the imported modules, which are easily confused with my own code if I’m tired and don’t read the message properly.

Torrent is fully decentralised and therefore accessible in practically all jurisdictions, regardless of the server status.
In many cases, I have also found Torrents to be considerably faster than direct downloads — however, your mileage may vary.
Older hardware. I read somewhere it’s lighter than Btrfs or XFS, and marginally faster than Ext4. Probably not my smartest move, in hindsight, but the system does fly.
It’s a derivative with Xfce and slapt-get pre-installed alongside some themes, software, and extra repos. Far less bloated than I would expect of such a distro, however, and very nice to use.
