There are a few theories on Grimace. He is either physical manifestation of a milkshake headache or an anthropomorphic taste bud.

Remember when they made Joe Camel illegal because it was appealing to kids, good times

I’ve loved this movie since I first saw it in the 90s. Thinking back on it, this movie really laid the blue print for Joss Whedon and James Gunn type MCU and DCU movies. Great action sequences, a good dose of humor, and decent story that doesn’t pretend to be anything more than a fun movie.

I kept mine active but haven’t used it since Musk took over. I just changed my name and bio to my Mastodon account so people could find me. I used it for work and had a lot of people find my content through it, so I didn’t want to just kill it. I also didn’t want someone claiming my username because I use the same one on pretty much all of my work socials. It got to the point last week that I’d rather not be associated with the site, even if people know it’s just to point you to my Mastodon. Hitting that delete button felt good, but I wish I had done it back in 2022.

I really thought UMPCs would have taken off

Per the Microsoft KB for it, this only happens if Windows updates are installed before a user logs in for the first time. So basically re-images and especially VDI environments are at risk of this happening.

They do still have John Savill and Mark Russinovich but they are both focused on Azure. They really need someone like them on the Windows side.

I wouldn’t put it past these lawmakers to be investors in VPN companies, so they can make money off of these laws.
Sounds right up my alley then
The Blues Brothers is my all time favorite movie. I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to rewatch things unless it’s been long enough for me to forget parts of it. But I’ve watched the Blues Brothers more times than I could count. Starting back whenever it was on TBS in the 90s, to when it was the first DVD I ever bought, to the two versions I have on my media server.
I have never heard of Nuts in May, so now I know what movie I’ll be watching next.
Seems like they were always behind on things like that. I had a friend that would come over to my house to update his TiVo because I still had a landline and it required a dial-up connection. This was in 2005, well after the decline of dial-up.
My kids love the Kiwico boxes. They have different ones designed for different ages. You can buy a single one of get a subscription where they get a new one every month.

Are you anywhere near Connecticut? I have a 50-60 foot tree in my yard that’s been completely incased by a kudzu vine.
Some Christians believe the return of the Jewish people to their land is viewed by some as a sign of the end times, leading to the second coming of Jesus. And yes they want the rapture to happen. There is speculation that is why they so strongly want to defend anything Israel does.
Lindsay Ellis just did a great video on it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwpanShgOp4

It definitely wasn’t one of DC’s best adaptions. They really tried to squeeze too much in for the run time. They totally could have dropped the whole Atlas and Samson thing and concentrated more on the main story.

It’s a good one. That one and All-Star Superman are the two I always recommend to people.

Superman
A lot of people dismiss Superman as being “too powerful” or “unrelatable.” They’ll say Batman is more relatable because he doesn’t have superpowers. But seriously, how many of us can actually relate to being a billionaire playboy with unlimited resources? In contrast, Superman grew up in small-town, working-class America. He is as much Clark Kent as he is Superman.
People call him a “boy scout,” as if that’s a flaw. But that misses the point. The fact that he has the power to rule the world and chooses not to, is what makes him extraordinary. He sets an ideal for people to strive for.
Yes, in the hands of a bad writer he can become a walking deus ex machina. But in the hands of a good writer, Superman becomes the core of some of the most powerful and iconic stories in comics. His greatness doesn’t come from what he can do, it comes from the choices he makes.

To answer OP’s question, I’m American but spent a few years in the UK. Things that fascinated me included:
The LaserJet 4P driver was the GOAT. It worked on every HP printer for years. It’s been all downhill since.
