I don’t believe I’ll make it to 50 and retirement is a joke now.
They want you working until you’re dead anymore.

I know exactly when that became rampant. 2016, basically the year where society had a huge meltdown in the USA.
Right-wing people stole ‘Woke’ and associated it with SJWs and along with ‘snowflake’ too. To them, being ‘Woke’ meant that you’re aware of their bullshit and the bullshit being forced by the right-wing politics about how incredibly backwards they want to take the country into. Like by allowing racism again, xenophobia and whatnot. So, anything that worked against that, then you’re suddenly ‘Woke’ to them. ‘Snowflake’ is what they called you when you have feelings and emotions, whereas they are the ones trying to be tough and were told to pull things by the bootstraps all their life.
Ironic how the tables turned on that one where these right-winged people are going into sandwich shops trying to be intimidating with their military cosplay outfits. They clung onto that shit like their security blanket and if you take it away, then they’re the ones crying up rivers over it.

Yeah that’s what happened the first time I went into therapy. Part of it was my fault for not really getting into the meaty details of my problems. But I was also dealing with a counselor-level therapist, which was someone I didn’t really need or want. I needed someone with better expertise and a broader range, so with Lyra, I found someone with a PhD and PsyD certifications and is a psychologist. Someone who has the credentials and tools to assist.
And she might not be perfect but still miles above from any session I’ve had with the counselor because she just wasn’t that helpful.

They’ll probably advise speaking to authorities. And a therapist could be a good resource of information. Because it’ll be on some record.

It is exactly how when companies make the most cutting edge software or develop a platform that gets white-hot. It’s about building portfolio and padding it.
They pour into the hard work to make whatever they make the best of its kind. Then when so many people are using it and the value grows, once a company sees its peak value, then it is time to sell.
We’ve seen this happen many times. Skype to Microsoft. Twitter to Musk. Deals that are worth billions and are making the original creators set for life.

Firefox Fanboys; “LEST IT NOT CHROME!!” they’ll cry.
Yes I will always take any and all jabs at Firefox fanboys over issues with Firefox because they’ve drank the kool-aid.
LibreWolf and Floorp is better.

Don’t lie or give therapists any run-arounds. They’ll know and while they can’t like penalize you for it, they could smell the bullshit and may call you out on it.
You need to open yourself up a lot. Not immediately, but in time. Therapy is about coming to clarity about your issues. You may hear things you won’t like. You may hear things that may get you emotional. That’s part of the process. The sooner you come to those truths and face them, the better off you’ll be, because you’ll figure ways in how to handle them.
Talking about self-harm and abuse to others may force a therapist to commit you into emergency self-care. Meaning they’ll reach out to emergency services to have to come get you if they feel you’re a threat to yourself or others.
Have a clear objective and a clear goal for you and the therapist to work on.
Oh and personal advice, if you do video-chat or anything with audio. Do yourself a favor and grab the audacity audio software, then figure a way to record everything a therapist has said to you to listen to as many times as needed.

Maybe consider that you’re a bad dog owner.

Which is entirely the point of keeping a community alive at all.
If people just strictly downvoted or upvoted posts and little commentary, there would be a problem of growth.

We really should have and we have had a good track record in doing so.
SOPA, PIPA targeting online piracy have not passed in the US because of the fighting efforts.
We shouldn’t be content just because we use a VPN. Companies are getting smarter about handling VPNs by putting pressure on the companies themselves.

Children car-seats are such a scammy looking business. They build them as cheaply as possible and use materials that degrade. Some people even toss them for the slightest thing wrong that wouldn’t otherwise ruin the purpose and security of the car-seat.
And yet the average cost is like $100 ~ $300 just for a decent one. I can understand tossing one if you’ve been in an accident or something but if it can still be used and your child is still secure and safe, what’s the problem?

Wow this is fucking awful.
What’s worse is that the AI Grandma practically repeats the same piece of advice in the video, at the same tone and everything.

We know they aren’t. But the point is to make their jobs so discouraging, they wouldn’t ever want to do shit for these companies again. That’s only the beginning.
Besides, a lot of them chose to do that job anyways. Don’t try garnering sympathy for these kinds of people.

Are they in Iraq though?!

I’ve been pushing it for a while now.
But, we need to start harassing marketers.
We need to tell them “No, I won’t and haven’t ever subscribed to your shit. I’ve never bought your shit. You spend millions to shove your shitty product and service in my face, everywhere I go and everything I use. I will continue to use adblockers to spite you. I will shit all over your product and service in anyway I can. I will send back the shit you’ve sent me. And if anything, I will get personal with you because you’ve been harassing me and getting away with it for however long, just because you’ve spent millions to do so. I am making it even.”

Plus you can’t really drive motorbikes if you live in places where snow and ice happens. I never really see any motorcyclists out in winter and for very good reason.

College.
My high school ‘career’ showed nothing but embarrassment, I long knew the risks and costs of college and I could’ve formulated a plan to attend a college had my grades and education improved. Unfortunately this never came to be and I never got so much of a sniff at college, even at community level.
But now with how colleges and universities are handled today, I’m glad I didn’t attend any because the costs would far outweigh any benefit.
Organic foods is just an excuse to charge you more so long as they make you feel better to know that it is organic.
