The real answer would be “don’t”. Have a decent whitelist dor training data with reliable data. Don’t just add every orifice of the internet (like reddit) to the training data. Limitations would be good in this case.

“Have you invested in crypto?”
Do you think anyone anywhere will misunderstand this as investing in cryptographic research/development?
The mainstream usage of the word isn’t always aligned with what is good for society or even the original usage of the word.
I feel like recently developed games and apps expect the user to have a “moden” sized RAM, meaning that the decs don’t give a crap about optimizing RAM-usage.
Both are also following an old set of laws, completely unwilling to change anything even as society changes.
My assumption is that it would be popular. So popular that the library would decide on sell a little snacks, sandwiches and soft drinks to earn a little money. And as the sale opens, they would realize that they get a lot higher profit on alcoholic drinks. And since they are selling alcoholic drinks, it’s unresponsible to have them in the same area as the daily area with books and study groups. Then they open a new section, maybe in a new location. And to save money on labour, they drop the non alcoholic products.
Of course this is taking it a bit far, but my point is that such a service has incremental steps, where each step would likely give higher profit until it is just a pub.
In Norway, we have had a wave of politicians leaving their minister posts or other high positions due to tax evasion on use of governmental appartments, small incidents of inside trading and lack of citations/plagiarism on their master thesis. It all seems so small nd innocent comparred to what Trump has done while still running strong for his party.
Honestly, that’s quite intriguing to me. I had originally written “politics” but decided to change it. Would that make a difference, or would it still be “are”? Also, I find it abit strange to use “[plural noun] are a [singular noun]”, but maybe this is just me repeating it too much, making it sound weird.
I know this is nothing remotely new, but I feel like it’s justified to keep repeating it:
US elections is a shitshow.
I heard he has bad breath (this is an excellent tactic to make shitty people talk less).
In an ideal world, maybe the votes would be weighed by the expected remaining life span of the voter.
You know how the sun radiates an incredible amount of power through millions and millions of tonnes of material undergoing nuclear fusion every minute, and the sun is expected to last for millions of years?
Well, not that much. But it’s still a lot!
What is the impact of this? It seems like whenever a political person is hit with a huge fine in the US, they never pay a penny of it. And furthermore, it seems like they just live their life in luxury, untouched by the massive amount of money they owe.
I just don’t understand. In other countries, I’d expect the criminal behind bars - especially if they won’t pay. What kafkaesque bureaucratic shithole set of laws allow this?

Intellij: Has a modern GUI for Git with code cleanup, import optimization and visualization of changes.
Me: Open terminal, ‘git commit -m “wrote code” && git push’. Then realize I forgot to add half of the files, so I make another commit. Then realize I forgot to cleanup bad indents, so I make another commit. Then realize my code doesn’t even build, so I make another commit, etc.
Its a nice idea which probably has a lot of complex implications. It would probably be a huge pain to figure out dimensions and compatible electric motors for every brand of non-electric vehicle, so the production of replacements would become very wide. Typically, the battery of an EV isn’t just a brick in the engine room, but it’s a whole range of cells along the length of the vehicle. Using the same space as the combustion engine might leave you with a vehicle with terrible range. Also, the safety of a car takes the engine into account. Replacing a combustion engine with an electrical engine would likely require a whole new safety overview for each individual model.
I honestly really hope that your suggestion would work, but I’m not expecting to see this becoming a wide solution before EVs dominate the market anyway.
We need the incrementally more eco-friendly options as well. Most pickup truck driving office workers won’t suddenly get a bike and change their ways, so a more eco friendly personal vehicle is probably a lot more likely to reduce emissions for that demography.
One of the typical arguments is selling ancestry history to insurance companies, effectively handing them health data which could lead to up-pricing or rejections for customers with bad health history.
Yep, I’m just shouting out my country because it checks the boxes.
It’s a country which isn’t usually far behind to receive technology, but for some EU/EEA-reason, Steam doesn’t really have Norway on the list of countries to include for physical products.
Also, we have a few third-party sellers with 50-100% markup, which is lovely.
But I’m sure it’s similar elsewhere.
Those numbers are worringly low. I have been assuming that the vocal group, the ones taking to the streets with their little hats and grumpy faces, were a very verbal minority. I’d expect way more than 1/3 to prefer some other candidate. Not great.
