That path doesn’t even exist. I don’t have the wireplumber subdirectory.

I’m gonna check with Pulseaudio if there are any known bugs. I wasn’t sure where to start looking but this thread has given me some good hints, thanks to people like you. :)

I checked my packages list and pipewire seems to be installed. I’m old school so I’m not up to date on the latest changes in that regartd. I’ll have to check how pipewire works with Ubuntu/Kubuntu.

I have an NVidia RTX 3070. Does that change anything?

I’m now recommending family members and relatives to switch to Macs if they’re not willing to install Linux on their PC.

I’m trying really hard to educate them about how intrusive Windows 11 is. But in the end, it’s like Facebook or whatever. They just don’t care about their online privacy and how their personal information is handled. Sometimes I don’t even know why I try.

Weirdly enough, Sega Genesis games for some reason. Except for Sonic. They weren’t as good as SNES games, I find.

They just feel like they were trying too hard to be ‘cool’. Often the graphics and music also didn’t appear as refined as the SNES. And the controller layout sucked. I hated the D-pad and 3 buttons wasn’t enough. Additionally, there was no standard for which button was for jumping attacking and third function. Whereas in the SNES it was pretty standard.

Maybe OP can find other activities to do on vacation. Like renting a cabin or cottage somewhere near a lake or river. I know I loved to go on fishing trips with my dad. Or doing campfires and roasting marshmallows, etc. I miss the 1on1 time we spent together.

This is a boundary I would definitely not cross. Not only would this fuck up my mental health, but there would definitely be some kind of argument that would happen during the trip that would just make the whole experience regrettable and worsen the situation between all parties.
