thanks i wasnt aware it involved so many complications to be able to accomplish being able to just get the “token” (good to know though), 2FA is already a bit of incovenience you get used to for extra security but involving all of these more is overwhelming so i guess i never will use passkeys

i didnt see any cloudflare when opening here, but i have been getting a weird error on other websites with Cloudflare saying “Incompatible browser extension or network configuration”, im not going to disable my browser extension just for them though so im glad on piefed im not having issues, i dont even have problems on how websites look but somehow Cloudflare thinks my extensions may be an issue

Bitwarden is a big no for me but thanks… im more fond of keepass-based ones like ChiPass, how do you “extract” the passkey token from setting so i can type it elsewhere instead of it prompting on the device you are clicking using internet?

cool thanks! excuse my question being dummy but isnt passkey tied to devices? i like TOTP because i can easily transfer to any device i can install a TOTP app (or password managers which many support TOTP and doesnt need internet) to keep it isolated from the device i connect and use and just get the 6 digits to type when i need it
