Ohh, I hear TierMaker OS is really good.

I’d be surprised if the Satanic Temple didn’t already have legislation in the works to address this.
Quick question, does Meta ever not lie about their products?
Boeing is the industry in the military-industrial-complex. Commercial jetliners are an ancillary product for them.
If they censored it like they did pornhub then how would all the right wing States get their propaganda?
They should pour out a piss bottle for the warehouse employees who couldn’t attend.
And now I’m curious how Winamp actually makes money.
**Edit
Just went to the website, it’s a subscription Spotify knock off now. Still doesn’t explain who are the people that actually pay for this.
Well this makes me feel better about my stupid questions on stack overflow.
I wonder what direction the Linux kernel will go once he’s gone. Obviously it will continue to go on and Torvalds should get a statue somewhere if he doesn’t already have one.
Personally, I do 2 separate UEFI boot partitions. Grub is the default which can select the windows boot partition. Then Windows can do whatever it wants to it’s own boot partition.
Funny enough I had a very similar situation happen to me and a group of friends in Rhodes Greece, except at the end of the meal the bill came and it was exorbitantly expensive. We realized it was a scam but we were drunk and the food was really good so we payed and left.
That’s one of my favorite things with Linux updates. Windows generally doesn’t tell you post update install size but I doubt they’re making the OS smaller.
Not gonna lie, I specifically bought an AMD GPU laptop so I could run a Wayland WM. After trying and failing with my old nvidia optane razor laptop I gave up on Nvidia. I still use it on my desktop tho. It’s so much smoother than X-11.
Completely agree with the off line sentiment. I remember about 5 years ago I got some cheap Chinese smart lights that needed me to create an account and give Tuya/Smart Life unrestricted access to my network. And the delay sucked turning the light on in app because the signal had to go to their main server and back.
Anyways, I discovered HA and it’s been really fun messing with ESP32 and Zigbee devices. I even host my own security cameras with Frigate.
Only Apple fanboys care. I’ve heard from them that green bubbles are for poor people. It’s kinda funny they how brainwashed some of them are. Although I will concede that SMS sucks compared to Apple’s and the equivalent apps on android are to fractured for consistency.
Where’s that package manager tho?
Hey, can I just say I appreciate this bot, and enjoy the commentary on the hacker news forum, but I really wish that those users would migrate to lemmy.
These are awesome, where are they from?
That was unexpectedly awesome.
16 gb of non-upgradeable ram seems a little light, but I’m not familiar with RISC. I would like to get one to play with tho.
