argh_another_username@lemmy.caOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's wrong with this message?9·21 days agoThe phone protect kids from sending nudes. (AFAIK it happens on the phone, not on a server). The phone has a series of protections for kids. She can’t message someone I don’t approve, no message or call from people not on the contact list can enter. But still, someone could grab her friend’s phone and ask for nudes. In this particular case, I entered my parent code and the message was sent. I fail to see how this is bad.

Five families, two with iPhones and three with Androids. I didn’t notice anything special. In fact, I took a ride cheaper than my Android friend. We were going back to the airport and to a certain terminal. They wanted to go to another. When he decided to change to my terminal, the price lowered to mine.
I told this story before. I was migrating an old system to a new one and we discovered that we were still sending faxes to some companies. Our system would create a PDF and send to a server that was connected to a phone line. So we called those companies to ask if we could find another way to send the documents. We learned that they too had a server with a software that would receive the fax and transform it in a PDF.

(Just light headed talk here) because I was born before internet, I remember the first porn magazine I saw (at 11, I think), the first porn magazine I bought (at 14, because fuck the rules) and the first porn film I watched (at 13 because my father had a video store). Those are definitely burned in my brain.
