Do you even know what forever chemicals are or do you think they’re a magic thing that are added to machines to make them last longer?

It’s so freaking annoying that these anti cheats don’t ever work with Linux… I wonder if steam did their own anti cheat that worked for Linux they could get those games to run on it, but it’s a pipedream, it’s too complex and it’s much better to keep the Linux portion of the market growing through making it more accessible to normal users and then getting the anti cheat companies interested in making a version for Linux instead
Just out of curiosity, what games do you need a windows machine to play that proton can’t make work on Linux?
And make it the responsibility of the car manufacturers if the touchscreen is used, because they clearly induced the accident, that would quickly make them stop making touch screens be needed for things you should not look away while driving
I would presume not since a storm would actually weather them down. The dust on the moon is like if sand was actually shards of glass.
Exactly same situation here. Every day I’m wanting to strangle him and all the other nazis and nazi enablers working in this government. An eternity of suffering would be the only way to approach the suffering of thousands of people through their entire lives that he and all these monsters are causing, not just to those living right now but who knows how generations following
10 times as long beating yourself up? How about at least 35 times at a minimum? Had to fix a little bit of text in some presentation slides for a class, I had from December 24 until January 6th to do it, and I kept beating myself up for not doing it until the night between January 5 to January 6, where I did it all in one sitting, taking me about 6 hours to do it all, and I could have done it even sooner than December 24, all the way back to the beginning of December, but I procrastinated it as well… Fucking hate how I cannot get myself to work on shit until the last fucking minute
You didn’t even watch the video, did you? This was not affecting only those who were a sponsor for honey, they affected EVERYONE who had an affiliate link, from the Mrbeast youtubers to people who actually check their sponsors because honey.
What honey would do is take away any affiliate commission for themselves, not only taking that money but by changing the cookie from others to theirs, so if a person with an affiliate link that did everything right, got a good sponsor with integrity and did a proper video showing the good and bad side of their product would still lose because instead of the sales showing that people came from the good creator, honey would change to their tracking, making the business not want to sponsor the good creator and the good creator wouldn’t even get their commission from the sales they made because honey stole them
Still a valid reason, food is just as much pure nutritional values as well as emotional responses from the people who will decide to eat it or not
What is the mental thing you have against lab grown meat?
Nice!!! Not only is this a nice job it also gives you contacts, something that can be really really powerful when looking for a new job as some people can just make a new position for you, literally how my dad went from a reception worker to his accounting job when he graduated!! I wish you a great job and that things work out amazingly for you!!!
2300 km from one tip to the other, shining a range of 500km (done models go over 600 some others just above 400, so seems reasonable middle ground) that would be just over 4 charges, but this drive is already going to take over 29 hours. One of these charges will be overnight, not causing issues for your travel and you can charge while you eat lunch, so it would take away 2 other charging sessions. That would leave with a single charge session unaccounted for. Honestly it seems pretty good
Edit: I just noticed I replied to the wrong comment, sorry 😅
You’re thinking America, Norway is small enough you can go without charging for a good while and it has lots of small cities, you can have enough charge to go to some city to “refuel” without issue. Yeah it’ll not be fast, but you won’t need several full charges to go from one end of the country to another
Hey!! Congrats!!! That’s really nice!!! What will you do in this new job?
I literally left windows because of the incessant ads for 11. The last straw was them forcing copilot on my windows 10 install, but a lot of other things were bugging me way too much before I kicked the bucket. Thankfully I have the help of a friend that uses Linux daily and my boyfriend who just knows a fuckton about computers, but after finishing the initial setup I haven’t really had any issues
Windows. I am tired of the constant enshitification. I was waiting for it’s end of support because of games and the extra work needed to make them work on Linux (had to have the support of two friends who know Linux to try and get my steam to actually recognize my games and run them with proton, and it took 3 nights of help to find the issues and then fix them to get it working consistently) but I am so glad I’m doing this now, I’m already enjoying Linux more than windows and the issues I’m having are because of companies like discord not making streaming unnecessarily a pain
Like he could even attempt to use Linux himself
Neither is the cybertruck
This will surely bring more users to Linux
Ahhh, so you are the type of dumb that heard the name and assumed the wrong interpretation and ran with it. The so-called “forever chemicals” are called that because they themselves don’t really break down, but they don’t give that property to other things. These “forever chemicals” are stuff like teflon, they’re stuff that doesn’t react with other things and that makes them nonstick, something that can be useful in a bunch of different things besides just nonstick pans, but because they’re so nonstick, it’s difficult to make them stay in the pan or whatever industrial machine they’re a part of, so they can flake off and be in the end product, in our food, water, soil and much more, and since like I said before they’re not reactive, they can just stay there as their molecules, forever. Using them in a machine doesn’t give the machine more durability or extends it’s work life, it just helps it not stick to stuff
