I’m not sure what kind of infidelity happens in high school, but I suspect if someone cheated on me by kissing someone else while we were in high school, I wouldn’t be upset, mostly because the nature of relationships in high school I don’t think of as long lasting. I’ve never cheated nor been cheated on though.

Many people are voting red because they think it will be better for their personal finances, with promises of lower taxes. They don’t look at the benefits: that use to outweigh the cost, which we’ve mostly lost Even though we still pay high taxes and high cost of living for things that are now for (higher) profit (healthcare, school, etc.). It’s not wrong to try and look at your bottom line, it’s just a short-sighted bottom line.

At least this is the conversation I have with people who consider themselves moderates who lean right and tend to vote Republican.

As a relatively young woman, I like being treated as an equal in a partnership, rather than as a utility in a relationship. I’d rather be alone than a grown adult’s nanny. This is a wild idea to many young men who have trouble respecting women, but insist they are the most respectful to women because they hold the door open sometimes.

I was going to reply similarly. I shop at a (regional) local grocery chain, and it’s a bit out of my way, but the prices are about 2/3 of other grocery stores. If I get store brands it’s about 1/2 the cost, but they don’t always have store brands for everything. They have a wider selection of produce though, because they cater to a broader demographic. I’m very lucky though, not everyone has the option to shop locally owned business.

Before saying “everything is the same” maybe try looking first.

I think you need to show that the money was spent on something sort of connected: A private jet to a spa day to make you look good for a debate. I’m not sure I necessarily understand it any better, but that was what I understand it to be.

All necessary healthcare. I would call this necessary. If someone needs insulin, that’s necessary. If someone with xy chromosomes and testosterone well within normal range wants more testosterone so they can be better at sports, I don’t want taxes to cover that. There’s a lot of grey area and I’m generally ok with most of the grey area, but if something isn’t recommended by doctors in the first place it probably isn’t worth my tax money.
