It’s hilarious watching Trumpers briefly turn into socialists when they try to argue that crimes against banks aren’t real crimes.
Good, even if you are supportive of gun rights there has to be a better option than contributing to a Russian fascist propaganda outlet.
The problem is that women and men who vote to protect abortion are ALSO voting for the same fascists as always. These abortion votes aren’t impacting the down ballot races like they should.
There seems to be a pretty big group of folks that are okay with fascism as long as it doesn’t directly impact them.

That’s exactly it, and this is also why the media CONSTANTLY “discovering” that Trump is a Nazi is just signal boosting his campaign content.
Maybe in another eight years they will move on from “dae notice that Trump is a racist fascist Nazi?” And instead start saying “don’t vote for racist fascist Nazis, do this instead.”
It tells us a lot about whoever wrote that speech and is planning to run a Trump Whitehouse.

Right? He wants all the unofficial but traditional perks and benefits of being a president without being bound by all the traditional obligations and expectations of the office.
It’s like he thinks being rich gives him an exception to all this shit, but he’s to stupid to realize that MOST American Presidents are rich, many of them more than he’ll ever be.
That’s Trump’s whole life. He thinks being rich cures him of rules and obligations, but then he wants into “high society” because of the access and authority that it provides. But that price of admission to that circle isn’t JUST about being rich, it’s about following the very rules that Trump doesn’t feel bound by.
It’s why the only thing he can think to do with the office of the president is trying to find cool stuff to show people to make people fonally like him.
This is America, even rich people can be trash.
1·1 year agoSometimes the downside to robust consumer protections is that you don’t get all the stuff. Norway has a guaranteed five year warranty that likely impacts profitability of compliance for some products.

Freedom to have every facet of your existence regulated to a homogenized set of conservative social values while also being totally free of any corporate oversight at all.
Not sure who wants to actually live there. Conservatives like two places: cities that exist because educated, largely liberal, people create jobs she money, or the country where they can leach off the cities to fund their infrastructure without any of the social costs that come with it.
