Walz did a great job, I am super happy.

I like how Walz chose not to dig into Vance too much, but instead he focused on a return to some sort of a normal functioning government.

Even some republicans are tired of the war between the left and right, and some of those who publicly identify as trump supporters may secretly vote for Harris simply because they do not want to continue to be at odds with their left wing family members.

Some republicans might recall a time when they were the patriotic ones, loving their football, their police, and their country. Now the party of trump is being told that football is woke, that the police are weak, and that the country is a shithole.

I think some of them miss what the Republican party used to be.

Even if it is just 5 percent of trump voters, Walz did a great job sending the message that it’s time we come together as a country and start making progress where it can be made, rather than feeding into the identity politics game of mud slinging.

Vance and his ilk wear their atrocious views on their sleeves, we don’t need to waste any time pointing out how terrible they are, we need to instead focus entirely on what we can accomplish together.

Everyone who is eligible needs to vote this time around, let’s all do our part to make it a landslide.

Years ago, I tried cities skylines on a sort of shitty PC… spent at least 8 hours trying to get it to work, then just gave up.

Requested a refund and it was granted almost immediately.

I bought a better PC and repurchased, and not it runs fine but the game itself is pretty mod dependent and I have spent more time installing and uninstalling mods than actually playing the game.

So yes, ask for a refund and you will probably get it even outside the 2hour window.

Yes it is embarrassing, yes other countries have similar issues, yes propaganda was and is very good at sowing dissent, and yes it does appear that we argue more when tensions are high.

After watching the debate, it’s natural for many of us on the left to feel a little queasy about voting for Biden. The man’s time has long since passed. It makes sense that many would feel compelled to vocalize their reluctance while still voting for him.

I will vote for Biden, but this whole situation is a shit show and I worry for the future of the country. Hopefully the DNC can get their shit together and drum up some solid candidates moving forward because the republicans show no sign of moving away from the far right.

They will still be short staffed and overworked. The company isn’t outsourcing the drive through out of the kindness of their hearts in order to lighten the workload on the employees.

I would argue that conspiracy the other way around… they keep us pacified with $2 cheeseburgers so that we don’t revolt. There will never be a revolution in the US so long as the beef industry continues to receive it subsidies which keep the cost of a Big Mac at around a half hour’s wages.

That said, if you really think that starvation is a liberal conspiracy used to control the masses, then you are simply delusional.

Except for the fact that over the first 10 years of the loan, nearly 90% of that payment goes to interest. Amortization and front loaded interest is a bastard. With property tax and insurance, a $500k house will cost about $1.5MM over the life of the loan.
