Those driver tools are often bundled with malware and do a poor job validating what they download is safe and correct. They are often associated with services that crawls the internet for downloads and tries to match the hardware id.

Generally, drivers are available from the motherboard or device manufacturer page. That said it’s rarely the solution and for your gpu (amd or Nvidia) they already have their own tool for keeping you up to date.

But with Linux most of that is taken care of for you by either the kernel itself or your distro’s maintainer.

The notable exceptions are games with aggressive anticheat software. Such as but not limited to (EA games, PubG, Fortnite, GTA5)

If you’re looking for something “easy” look into Kubuntu LTS.

Take good care of it and it might outlive you.

If you’re able to afford it and it doesn’t jeopardize your employment. Taking a huge amount of time off can reset the mental burnout.

If you wait too long to take a decent vacation the burnout can take years to recover from once you finally break.

Avatar has been pretty much a let down just like cowboy bebop. I really wanted it to be good, but they did this really strange with changing the characters personalities and corrupting the flow of the story.

One piece has been good so far but I got the impression it might be pulling back on the main character.

Edit just finished episode 2 of season 2 of the live action avatar. That was much better than I expected. My hope has been restored.

They also have a Linux version. But it might be cli only haven’t checked.

I’m aware of those features too. What I was alluding to is domain age and your ASN are factored into the spam filters.

If you have a fresh domain on a residential network for example. You can have everything set up perfectly and still be marked as spam.

But you’re right that those features are commonly misconfigured or omitted. Without a full autopsy on the issue I’m just throwing darts into the darkness.

Yeah I agree, overall the story was bad. I really enjoyed the characters and slice of life aspects of the show. I felt some of those points you bring up were big weaknesses to the overall experience. It felt like the team was targeting a younger group than before. (Or I just got older haha)

I would suggest the OVH email offerings. They’ve been in business a long time and don’t price gouge their customers for basic features.
