Wood is only good if you produce it regionally. Cutting down forrests to produce wood pellets for heating in Western Europe is very bad. Wood is most of the time not as sustainable as one might think.

Also if you look at the landuse we have it’s very small compared to older times, at least speaking for Europe. You know that “organic” farming does not use pesticides? You also know that fields, where to a certain degree weeds are allowed to grow and which are not handled overly destructive (so organic farming + hedges + smaller patches + fruit circle) are also important ecosystems?
