You’re not wrong, but wishing him nothing but a horrific death puts us exactly on his level. I have no sympathy for the guy or his actions, but I do want to leave the door open in case he, or anyone else for that matter will sincerely say the magic words “I was wrong”. It’s probably not going to happen, and we can revel in the fact that everything that is happening to him is his own doing, but one day this war will be over and we have to move on from it somehow. Allowing people like that to admit they supported the wrong side is the path forward IMO.

I kinda get what you’re saying, the guy is naive at best and stupid at worst, but even he doesn’t deserve this horrible fate.
