Unequivocally no.
Unequivocally no.
If something is marketed as “unlimited”, I don’t think there is such a thing as “wildly excessive use”. This isn’t a competitive eater going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and being mad about getting kicked out. It’s a business using a service in a way that’s seemingly in-line with what they paid for.
Yeah, I recently found a post there where a person wanted to modify a downloaded mesh. The first comment was telling them they would need years of experience to do it well. The OP responded that they had figured out a solution that they were happy with, to which someone told him that his results were shitty and then explained a way to do it better. When the OP got upset at this back to back dismissal, everyone unanimously decided they were an asshole.
I think most people on Lemmy would agree that private planes simply shouldn’t exist, at least on a personal use level. I don’t actually care at all where these rich bozos are going, but the ability to shame them for their method of travel outweighs any potential privacy concern. Airports are public places, airplanes (were) a matter of public record. If they truly want privacy, they should find an alternative means of conveyance. If they absolutely need to travel incognito, they could just charter a plane, for Pete’s sake.
I found an address on Google Maps to write mine.
I tried to switch my primary search engine on Firefox to DDG yesterday when I heard the news. 3 searches later, I switched back. I don’t like Google, but damned if I’m not used to it.
No, we’re downvoting because they’re seemingly pro-AI at all.
But nobody should want AI powered anything.
I think we need to dust off the “How to Orchestrate a Coup” playbook.
This thread is wild to me as a shokz devotee. I use them for everything, no secondary set of headphones, music sounds good. I don’t care about bass at all, though.
The band needs to be a flexible metal so that enough pressure is applied to the ear pads. If they were floppy, you wouldn’t hear them very well.
News outlets, I implore you, please start writing articles and stop just posting videos.
I initially upvoted this comment, but since every other comment you’ve made is weird and combative, you’ve somehow made me stop agreeing with you. It’s an odd feeling.
Psst, I think they’re being sarcastic
It would have been better to simply not reply, rather than this woe-is-me persecution complex thing.
No country has a right to exist.
You can really tell a lot about Lemmy’s demographics by looking at the upvoye/downvote ratio on these 2 comments. Of course 100k a year isn’t “nothing”, it probably puts you into the 10th percentile in earnings for this country.
Why is this such an unpopular take? Is it because Lemmy is largely comprised of tech bros who make too much money? I just don’t understand how people are justifying any salary above 200k, and even that’s a huge stretch.
That’s definitely what they meant, I don’t know why you’re so certain otherwise. Just because a question doesn’t have an answer doesn’t mean it wasn’t asked.
Decided to check in on you after Biden’s performance at the debate, and I find you getting utterly trounced by someone who seems to be fully on the level. If you can’t understand why someone would be at least hesitant to support Genocide Joe (while fully acknowledging that Genocide Donald is our only other option), I just can’t take you seriously.
