TheBrideWoreCrimson@sopuli.xyzto Technology@lemmy.world•Brian Eno: “The biggest problem about AI is not intrinsic to AI. It’s to do with the fact that it’s owned by the same few people”English31·2 months agoIt’s moronic. Currently, decision makers don’t really understand what to do with AI and how it will realistically evolve in the coming 10-20 years. So it’s getting pushed even into environments with 0-error policies, leading to horrible results and any time savings are completely annihilated by the ensuing error corrections and general troubleshooting. But maybe the latter will just gradually be dropped and customers will be told to just “deal with it,” in the true spirit of enshittification.
Wikipedia never ceases to amaze me.

It was a pretty big shock for us when so many of the Ukrainian refugees that arrived during recent years came in SUVs, and they looked quite new, too. But in Ukraine, one of Europe’s poorest countries by far, cars cost a lot less, too.

No, no, no… etc.
Sure, come anytime. There are many foreigners in the south of Germany in particular, and in northern big cities as well. You’ll blend right in.
Looks like you are right, and thank you for notifying me. Much appreciated. I updated the image and description accordingly.
Not according to this. Quoting the thrower:
“He doesn’t stand for me. He doesn’t represent anything I believe in, or any of the people around here. He doesn’t represent us.”

Thankfully, I’ve been keeping two accounts since forever, with the main motivation being that banks really like changing their TOS and introducing all sorts of fees, which I don’t want.
