The best thing I’ve ever heard in advice for almost anything has always been “look like you’re supposed to be there”.
I took a work trip to NYC, I’ve never been to NYC. I was asked directions 5 times.

You mean “The Fun Police”

We towed it outside the environment

In debt ever since

I had a job cold call me for an interview. During the interview it turned out I’d be working for a guy I’ve already worked for in the past, but the company went under.
He asked me why I applied, I said “I didn’t, they called me and asked if I wanted an interview, I’ve never heard of this place before”. He didn’t like that answer.

I bring this up at my job all the time. I work as a software tester, and I’m constantly reminding our BA that most customers aren’t smart enough to “just know not to do that”

Founded in Sydney in 2002 and domiciled in the United States since 2022 as a pure holding company of Atlassian Corporation Plc, the company is globally headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with a US headquarters in San Francisco

Little bit of A, little bit of B

Sounds like a partially-solid (lol) plan chance to set up some aquaculture farms and use some of that poop for plants.

I used to order a “catering” size of chili from my local Big Boy. It was a quart of chili, granted it took me three meals to eat it, but yeah catering doesn’t mean much.

It always amazes me how good our instinct of just “something is terribly wrong”. I’ve avoided cars on the highway that would have hit me off not for “that person’s driving is suspect” and moved out of the way
My friends and I do make this generalization a bit, but mostly at older men, boomer age. We all know a number of men who will proudly claim they never changed a diaper.
My mother in law and grandmother in law were in amazement at the level of participation I had with my kids. They commented on it a number of times (jokingly telling my wife to lock me down with sex) when they’d see me do almost anything for my own kids.
I don’t know any new fathers though

I have a pi-hole at home to block them when they’re on Wi-Fi. I’ll look into that for when they’re out and about

I have successfully taught my children that if they play a game that requires ads between attempts at playing the game, that usually is faster to force close the game and start from the beginning again than wait for the ad to finish.
I’m so proud to see them just “nope” out of ads immediately.

I haven’t a clue.
The context of when I posted it was on a comic about “I’d do anything for my kids except listen to them talk about what they enjoy”.
How else are you supposed to figure what kind of stupid nonsense they’re getting up to. Anytime I see my kids focused on almost anything I’ll ask “what’re you working on?”

Nope, read the full resolutions text, and also emailed my rep. But thanks anyhow!

I got so many downvotes last time I suggested this, it was just comical to me how many people get pissed at the implication that they aren’t watching their kids, while not watching their kids.

So what you are saying is one single Styropyro Macro-wave will suffice?

Personally I don’t care for “Mexican pizza”. I mean I like the flavors, but together I just don’t.
One day I started a job at a warehouse as a picker, walked like 15 miles that day pushing a cart around climbing up and down shelves, I was exhausted. Stopped by my GFs house, she asked if I was hungry, I was but all she had was a frozen Mexican pizza. It was at the time, the greatest food I have ever tasted.
What a winner that person is.
At this current time, I wouldn’t recommend it. Generally speaking the people are welcoming and the things to see are plentiful.
But the issues visitors will run into aren’t with the people or landmarks. I don’t want to deal with law enforcement here and I’m a white male middle class citizen.
