It doesn’t require an app. When you pay, you select your bank and it will redirect you to a page that the bank provides. My bank provides a QR-code I can scan with their banking app, but it also offers a log in form to pay.

So I guess it is based on what your bank is willing to provide.

Greenwashing.

I am Dutch and all Shell adds I have seen is about how much they are moving into green technology.

Yet, during a share holders meeting they proudly state they will not do that and invest more in oil because ‘the oil market still saw growth.’

Or that the green investments is mostly into hydrogen, so that they can continue with their production scarcity nonsense.

How is it more creepy than the tones you hear when dailing a phone number?

I think it is more about ambiguity. It is easier for a computer to intepret set tones and modulations than human speech.

Like telephone numbers being tied to specific tones. Instead of the system needing to keep track of the many languages and accents that a ‘6’ can be spoken by.

I was thinking more like PATHOS-II.

It is also for those who grew up with the language. If I have no spellcheck, I sometimes just have to write it both ways and see which way feels ‘right’.

My sector is scale 10 or 11 depending on starting experience. 10 grows a bit faster the first few years to reflect a junior position.

Maybe government IT in Germany is low stress. Maybe the average in my country is also. But my department surely isn’t low stress. Could be because I work at a research institute that has been leading the charge into public cloud?
