Intel ME is a whole thing, too.

Yes, that’s what I’m challenging. Who do people think they are to think their subjective opinion is objective truth?
It usually goes hand in hand with not justifying themselves because “everyone agrees it’s unacceptable”.
I guess. The way it’s formulated purposefully removes them from the statement, though.
It’s always baffling how people can define something as unacceptable. Says who? You? Who are you to just make that decision so unilaterally?
You can have your opinion, but it’s just that.
Bit more than 72h. We were doing a practical project at uni and had a deadline on the following Tuesday. We got to work on Saturday. We made it on time, though, everything worked. 10am that day we had a presentation scheduled.
And then somebody short-circuited one of the motor control boards and it stopped working. That’s when I left to go sleep for a day.
That must have been terribly satisfying.
I’m sure the workbook still exists somewhere, though, ‘just in case’. And someone argued that the new way is much less accessible than the workbook.
Decades of speed increases in hardware, yet software is slower than ever because we’re wasting it on JavaScript.
But colored folders!
Damn Hondurans! I don’t know what countries are or where I live, or what they have to do with this story, but those Hondurans sure do suck!
Also, Windows is catching up on the breaking of things, while Linux has improved dramatically. At least some distros are incredibly stable.
Centralized storage of pirated content is a problem. You want p2p to continue, otherwise it’s suddenly very easy to deprive all of those streaming sites of content.
There’s a middle ground. Not talking won’t convince anyone, either.
But realizing that certain people are bad people because they express their values through certain votes is important.
E. g. you can not attend the roast and cite their political views as the reason, especially with the recent (and constant) hate on immigrants. That doesn’t mean they’re cut off.
I assume you’re not in the crosshair of Trump policy once he gets elected? Because for some people threats to their life and voting Trump are about the same thing.
You continue to tolerate your family tolerating and even choosing hate and bigotry, even if they themselves don’t exhibit them to your face. Your uncle IS a bad person.
I’m so sad that the meme deteriorated. The original Hooty McOwlface was more complex, but the hivemind made it stupid. Boaty McBoatface should have been e. g. Horny McBoatface.
It’s not a circle, it’s a spiral!
But LCD sound cool, too. Twisting crystals so they become opaque or transparent.
That’s how you recognize bullshit. If there was a kernel of truth worth protecting the offending posts would be removed.
I got a solar panel and battery in case of power loss. Won’t do much for heating, but as long as 4G stays up, it’ll allow me to communicate. Or I could probably get around 30min of PC time out of it if necessary.

generic Simpsonesque brown, but it stopped existing towards the corners.
Loose fit, but my family lived in Australia for a few years. We’re German. One night, my dad feels like a shake after a long drive to a vacation spot, so he drives up to a McDonald’s and orders, the rest of the family dozing in the car.
“One erdber shake, please.”
“Excuse me?”
“One erdber shake, please?”
“… I don’t understand.”
At this point my mum realized.
“Oh, a strawberry shake!”
We all have a bit of a laugh. He said the German word for strawberry, but pronounced it English. None of us in the car realized and we all understood. The lady in the drive through said she thought they invented a new flavor she didn’t know about.
He also swaps the th and s in Thous Australia. :)
