Love the progress you guys have been making down there. We came close to electing an Independent for senator this past year, but we’re also fighting with our Governor and Surgeon General over a medical marijuana bill that passed the overwhelming majority of voters this past year yet they don’t want to support nor acknowledge. Our farmers are feeling the heat from the economic situation. I think if there’s any time to see Nebraska start to shed its fierce loyalty to Husker Red (Husker White isn’t so bad, is it?), we’ll see it happen very soon.

As a Nebraskan, we’re actually on the verge of losing our Blue representation. We’re one of two states that split our electoral vote, one district goes blue and the other two go red. Our governor has had a huge push this last year to change to winner-take-all, which would effectively silence the majority population of the state that lives within the blue district for the Conservative Values of the rest of the State.

As someone who recently had to quit cold turkey from being a heavy daily user due to job change and a drug test (I had 6 weeks to be clean), I can confirm that physical withdrawal symptoms exist and are not pleasant. Includes night sweats turning into nightmares, upset stomach with loose stools, and loss of appetite. Lots of warm baths to combat the fatigue of withdrawal. Heightened paranoia due to the situation.

Would not recommend. If you’re a heavy user and need to stop/T-break, taper down first, or work with a mental health provider.

Pharmacy technician here. When we bill a prescription, the processing information (either from your insurance card, or from GoodRX) is entered into the computer, then the claim (including the drug being billed, day supply, and patient information) are sent to the benefits manager (PBM), and returned to give us a determined copay to charge you. It’s during this transaction, that by using GoodRX, your information has been volunteered to GoodRX as part of the billing process.

We do not determine copays - PBMs and your plan formulary do. You showing us a dollar sign on GoodRX does not guarantee you that price.

As an aside, my particular pharmacy does not accept GoodRX due to knowledge of these practices. It may also be interesting to know that GoodRX charges pharmacies a “finder’s fee” for offering a discounted price e.g. you pay the pharmacy $25 for a $22 drug, and the pharmacy pays GoodRX $5. If you can still find independent pharmacies, support them! They will work with you.

And even if it doesn’t, it’ll still make hundreds of trillions of dollars doing it, so it was worth it in the end.

I think you’re confusing it with Ms. Information. Which would cause information to be female, and as a female, information has no rights. Ms. Information does not get to be free.
