I disagree. It feels like your making this assumption from the point of view that people using AI to develop turn their whole brain off and let AI take the wheel. Any dev I know using AI uses it as a time saving measure, i.e. advanced autocomplete, or to assist with troubleshooting as a form of advanced search engine. Also you would have no need to give the AI the actual key itself, at most you would give it the title of the variable the key is saved as.

Get a call blocker app, tell it to block every single phone call, whitelist your contacts. If they are not in your contacts, but its important, they will leave a message.

Try to get a quick lunch, sit down to eat, asshole in corner listening to tiktok at full volume, imagine murdering this pos through the entire meal.

It is a tough situation, because yes it makes complete sense to say “I cant stop them, but I can ensure their safety” since we know abstinence is a pipe dream, but its also not fair to say your ideas on how to parent supersede another parents. Hell this could even be a teaching moment for your child by explaining this in full candor with them so they understand your concerns with the request and why you made the decision you made, it can be helpful for them to understand that just because other people do things in a way you don’t agree with, doesn’t give you the right to force your ways on them, a lesson in desperate need across the world lately.

I am all for trust, but in this scenario we are discussing the honesty of a teenage male trying to get laid, and I wasn’t born yesterday, and I was him at one point. The downside of “Your son violated my little girl in your house and you knew about it!!!” is quite high to let trust take the wheel, especially when all you had to do was ask your son to have her parents call you.

Most every major company isn’t entrenched in people’s lives as deeply as apple is though. If I want to leave Netflix it’s as easy as switching subscriptions. If I want to leave Apple I need months of migration and multiple product replacements.

Or at least that’s what it looks like to someone who has avoided Apple their whole life, it was apparent to me as a teen that the walled garden was a trap. The iPhone and iPhone 3g where the only and last peices of apple hardware I’ve ever owned.
