According to most polls right now? It seems like Trump.
I’ma girl now
According to most polls right now? It seems like Trump.
Pardon Snowden?
together we get to keep democracy.
Never had it.
he spent four years telling us a president can’t do anything.
Which is even more upset that the SCOTUS just ruled that the President can pretty much do whatever the fuck they want. Imagine if we had a White House with balls and not a octogenarian Sundowner.
The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war, the Ministry of Truth with lies, the Ministry of Love with torture and the Ministry of Plenty with starvation.
You can’t have a democracy run under the idea that things can always stay the same.
Literally untrue. You seem to have a very idealistic definition of what a democracy is. Democracies can follow any policies they want, as long as they’re based on the popular vote of the people.
Yes? That’s a completely different statement though.
This is why conservativism is just not compatible with democracy.
You can’t have a society that adapts to a changing world and growing understanding of reality if people’s political ideology boils down to “We need to ignore new information and instead keep trying the failed ideas of the past.”
These two statements do not logically follow each other. There’s nothing inherent to democracy that makes Progressivism necessary
Your comment reminds me of a comment one of my undergrad profs said once, which was something like “no one in Rome on September 4, 476 AD looked at each other and said 'Holy shit! This is The Fall of Rome!”
If Biden loses and a second Trump admin enacts all the shit we’re worried about, I think future historians will move the date of The Fall of the U.S. a lot further back.
pure conjecture and deflection
I genuinely don’t understand how your reply was meant to be anything but support for my original reply.
Which is why we call it Sundowning, and it’s a normal part of aging.
I’m not even pushing some crazy conspiracy theories but just clarifying that sundowning is NOT a normal part of aging. Sundowning is only a symptom of dementia that doesn’t affect healthy old folks.
Biden got old about a decade ago. The man’s 81 years old. The US was still cleaning up the rubble from Pearl Harbor when he was born
Liberalism and leftism haven’t solved problems that common people actually experience.
An interesting take that I mostly agree on. Why shouldn’t people be resistant to 21st-century Progressive Leftism when it’s the successor to the post-Cold War-era liberalism that gutted their economies? Not saying that it’s the right conclusion to jump to the political right, but the surface appeal of “hey, we opposed these guys 30 years ago!” is indisputable.
The far-right is making massive gains around the globe with appeals to nationalism. Wonder why that could be.
Nobody who voted for segregation because they didn’t want their kids living in a “racial jungle” should he the sitting idealogue of the “progressive” party of this country. Sorry, Dems should’ve put Biden out to pasture months ago.
Don’t forget about supporting segregation! (Side note: yes, he’s that old.)
Wowee, I was about to vote for Hunter Biden, but surely won’t after learning about this.
Sorry, but Joan Rivers was maybe the best female comic of all time
I think you’re reading into it a bit much. Cops love to rile people up to break the law. They get off on it. I was just making a joke off that
I’m genuinely confused on what this is supposed to mean
