It’s generally LGBTQ friendly especially in Amsterdam but as the other comment said there’s also a far right movement going on so it’s not all roses and rainbows.

Lemmy is the only app I use because I want to. Others I gave to use for work etc.
I can’t find “DHV”, I guess that’s an old model? What would you recommend for something modern that “just works”?
I tried blender in those old days but stuck with cinema 4D at the time, blender really sucked. These days it’s totally awesome kinda wish I had more time for it but I’m focused on other things.
Funnily enough, a similar thing. When I was 20 I had a small business, but registered to the business register just like any other. I got invited by email to attend the opening of the new lodge in the stadium (because they were trying to sell me private seats passes I definitely couldn’t afford). Shook hands with the players and everything.
I go raw, I trust my instance to defederate from the worst of it, but otherwise I don’t block people, communities or anything. I also browse by all and while I subscribe to communities it’s more for the future or something, because for now there’s just not enough content to curate my feed really.
It’s all good though because I switched to other sources for my specialist content (mainly YouTube) and Lemmy is just there for my obsessive scrolling.
In these kinds of discussions you can assume the third world country jab was a reference to the US.
Why does it need to be a pod??
I know it’s the biggest annoyance I get on the road and the reason I try not to drive at night. And I live in Europe! When I drive at night in north America it’s much worse.
This, and the one facing the other side of the road needs to be angled lower than the other one, that’s it.
I’m on an extended music break but was also going to say bitwig. Very intuitive and enjoyable layout but just as powerful as any daw. Sensible pricing model from what I remember too, Linux support…
Helaas pindakaas…
Fucking hell I wasn’t prepared for the existential questions when I entered this thread.
Nederlander?
This used to work for me but these days the only way it works is if I pace myself with a big glass of water in between each alcoholic drink. The “chug a liter before bed” only somewhat helps now, but barely.
I was really wondering if I had missed something about Anne Frank.
To be fair if they’re able to locate the point of origin they’re probably able to calculate the time it took to get there as well as the current position of our galaxy.
The moon feels much more real to me when I see it in the daytime. At night it’s so bright I can’t really make out the details (my eyes aren’t the best), but during the day I see it very clearly and it looks more 3D, makes it feel much more like the big rock in space that it is.
Still not nearly as expensive though, prices in the US are artificially inflated through collusion, while prices in the EU are kept down via the huge bargaining power countries have when negotiating under a unified front.
Damn that’s a pricy toy! Anything more entry level but still good? I think I might be down for a manual one with a torch.
