I’ve spent so much time trying to get act working well enough that it’s easier to use than pushing to remote but it gets really difficult when you involve things like AWS services (especially when the tokens to push to ECR aren’t available to me as a lowly dev). Wow in Canada you’ll maybe get a letter from your ISP telling you that they got a complaint and that they’re legally obligated to tell you to stop but that’s as far as it’ll go. If you keep torrenting without a VPN, you’ll just receive the same letter again but they don’t actually care

I feel you completely. A long while back now I was really into tiling window managers and all that stuff but I’d never actually do anything with my computer because I was always tweaking things
I also really like GNOME and was a diehard for a loong while but god damn Plasma6 is amazing and I don’t know if I can go back to GNOME. I swear KDE went from being one of the worst examples of UI (UX was always alright) design to one of the best.
I frequently think about owning and working a small farm a short walk away from a quaint medieval village where everyone knows each other. I’m not really sure what country or even specific time period that’d be in and I know I’m probably romanticising it significantly but life would have been so much simpler
