So edgy.
So edgy.
Not really. They haven’t been giving me a good reason. I’ve seen too many broken articles, formats that aren’t consistent and an abundance of editing issues. Those are not good reasons for me to be donating to them over.
I’ve not once ever contracted a virus or anything malicious whenever I’ve had an EOL OS online.
I’m not that fucking stupid. You just need to know your shit and know where not to go, if there is anywhere to go.
Nah, not for me. I’ve known to use Windows OSes beyond their EOL support. I remember having still been on Windows XP while everyone else went to Vista and then to Win7. When I got to Win8, it was only because I bought another computer from a friend that had it, that was how I got upgraded.
I don’t abide by when Microsoft wants me to upgrade by, if they can pull their heads out of their asses (unlikely) for Windows 12, then I might consider.
The Sega Genesis version is fun and all, but it’s very linear. Like, there’s only one secular path you can take in the story. The only thing that sort-of makes it fun is how overpowered or underpowered you want your team to be, but the line is still straightforward. It’s a very sandbox way of playing it.
The SNES Shadowrun had a lot more going for it and while some of the execution like how it handles the Matrix pales in comparison to the Genesis version, it still had that depth in it’s story and pathway.
Shadowrun on the Sega Genesis. It’s the more faithful rendition of the TTRPG to video game adaptation.
Something I don’t really like seeing when someone asks a question like this, is everyone just jerking someone around with their recommendations.
I would advise first to feel your tastes out, what do you feel like doing? What do you think is worth your time and even money to invest in? Whatever you feel gravitates you, go for it.
Shut the fuck up about the woes with your ex. You’re meant to move on and seek new people. Your ex should be old news, out of sight and out of mind. No new potential date should have to hear you crying about your bad marriage, about how things were once good between you and the other person. Because that’s you not letting go, regardless of what you’ve been through.
And if you keep droning on about your past relationships, you are chopping down what interest there is between you and the new person. That’s why you don’t get anyone new.
I love inventors and creative engineers. They are huge parts of the reason that makes the world go round and without them, we wouldn’t have ever made it as far through the ages as we have.
My one huge issue with Facebook Dating is that awful character limit. It should be 1,000 characters or 750 at least. 500 isn’t enough and people resort to just emotes, abbreviations and snippets of info that isn’t enough to grasp on.
Facebook’s time has long expired, because Instagram and Threads have come up as just simply alternatives. Yet they’re from the same company.
Tech support people don’t exist, you have to rely on a dumb hub system that likely will not answer everything.
There’s still features that people have been demanding for years and years that are never coming, like being able to remove likes and reactions from people you’ve removed and blocked.
Facebook is basically where your privacy goes to die, because, why else are they recommending you the same people to re-add when you re-register on an entirely new e-mail, entirely new profile .etc? It’s because they’re stashing your data in their servers just to re-use on you.
I pick my subjects based on how much I actually have a fair deal of knowledge about.
I don’t dare enter discussions that’s beyond my knowledge, like hardcore scientific shit.
If I want things, I need money and the only way to get money without practically committing any financial crime that there is, it’s to work for it. Quite frankly, it’s unhealthy to be bathing yourself with this mentality of dreading the reality of the matter. I won’t disagree that it sucks, but there has to be other directions out there for you than just that.
But I do suspect the reason you’re feeling this way is because of you mentioning disabilities and I can’t imagine the kind of world you’re in where, it seems like there’s a layer of disrespect towards the disabled when it comes to work.
Simple - because it’s not Twitter.
The fediverse is considered ‘over’ when parasitic leeches like Musk and Spez come knocking on Lemmy’s and BlueSky’s doors like “we want growth…please sell to us”.
