When I was young, I went to every single show that came through my hometown.
Moving to Chicago for college, I went as often as there were bands I recognized , about three times a month.
Once I became a parent that shot downhill fast, to something like once every two months. I began to work nights and could almost never go. I’m back to a first shift schedule now and excited to start hitting the scene again, even if I’m too fat for the moshpit these days.

My psych got me on Buproprin and it’s amazing how much impact it’s had on my impulse control and depressive phases. Like, the feelings are still there, but I only have to say “no” to them once instead of every two minutes for days at a time.
