J J Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Robert Orci are creative geniuses. Fringe is a very worthwhile way to spend 150 hours.
I think this is a common shared behavior of lazy nerds. I once torrented The Big Lebowski because I didn’t want to get out of bed and put the DVD in.

1·9 days agoI would not suddenly take up a deep interest in transmissions, their workings, their manufacturers, which types are mechanically superior, subscribe to a transmission subreddit, argue with strangers about which ones are best, etc…
5·10 days agoYeah, that is a bit of a silver lining to this cloud.
It’s bleak to me because when denied the artificial highs of buying crap, they just switched to fake ones to get the fix. Instead of them doing something else that might make them happy in a more real healthy way.
Like breaking an addiction of a real thing, just to replace it with an artificial one.
I like where my car takes me. I have zero interest in its transmission.

It’s odd to me to be a fan of an OS. It’s the nuts and bolts needed to make a computer do things I actually care about.
