Being dyslexic is like a rollercoaster at times. I read it as “Donald Trump brutally shot down by judge”, did a double take, and had to immediately start over.
Oh that’s such a delicious irony… Also, letting a guy who was convicted of felony forgery become vice president of the republican party is so fitting for the party of election frauds.
With that said, I do think that prisoners should be allowed to vote as they are still citizens, even while in prison, let alone during their probation.
There is a study about this (link); many people would rather have less as long as their peers are worse off. This is our inner caveman brain telling us this is a zero sum world.
Republican voters subconsciously want the other side to suffer more than improving their situation, they are just not self-aware enough to realise it.
This is much worse than just assault, because it’s also an intentional act of battery, which is a potential felony charge in Massachusetts.

Yes, it’s harder to do this, especially when you’re starting out; if I saw such an ad like in the post in my area, I would definitely prefer that over a big corporation even for the same price. The fact that this is significantly cheaper makes it even sweeter, and I would have definitely used this guy’s services had I lived in Seattle.
Damn, that’s crazy, and it looks like you’re right. He must have the acting talent to make it big in Hollywood, and would have probably made a lot more too… But instead chose to make the world a worse place.

I understand that, but from my personal experience, this is not more stable because companies like these will fire a chunk of their workforce without batting an eye for the slightest shift in the market, whereas a self-employed person will just see a slight decline in demand. Also, the difference in income more than makes up for the perceived stability. Sure it isn’t for everyone, but as a consumer, I’d rather most of the money I pay won’t go to corporate executive’s multi-million dollar salary, but to the people actually providing the service.
That’s awesome! Cutting off giant corporations and giving money directly to the person doing the work is exactly what we should be doing. I bet he is making more money than he would have had he worked for any of the food delivery companies even though it’s cheaper.
