171·19 days agoHi Engineer here. Nothing “just works”! That is a simple matter of perspective. Countless hours of mental anguish go in to projects with work arounds and bandaids, so something looks like it “just works”.
And this perspective is coming from someone who has not used the product he is shitting on. I love my A1 mini. And will I upgrade the firmware? No, it already does what I need. But the majority of users who are not us are fine with a closed system. Hell, I think “normal” people even prefer closed systems. I also love my pain in the ass Ender 3 with my raspberry pi and octoprint.
Got a 2070 TI EVGA. They don’t make those anymore!
I never understood this. Maybe because I stick with basic distros like Ubuntu or Mint. But I have not had this issue.

I’ll be your fanboy for the day. I blame Windows for the slow down. If I move a file to or from a flash drive on windows the transfer will slow down to kilobits. This does not happen to me on Linux.
