Yup, I came to say this after taking a look at OPs posts. I tend to block users who do that instead of downvoting though. I dislike scrolling through All and seeing the same post over and over again.

Latitude 7490 had a string of bad batteries too. Our XPS units kept having things disconnect internally (even after a motherboard swap with warranty). The latitude 7420 onwards have been super solid!

Jtee@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Dropbox is laying off 20% of its staffEnglish372·6 months agoIt’s already shit. Try downloading more than 20GB at a time.
"You may keep in mind that you can download the contents of an entire Dropbox folder via dropbox.com, as long as both of the following are true:
The folder is less than 20 GB in total size The folder has fewer than 10,000 total files"
Say you want to leave the platform, they hold your data hostage and cripple your experience with migration. They force you to use 3rd party apps to download your own documents because they can’t support a full export.
The enshittification is already here.
Machines that can’t run Win11 aren’t immediately obsolete. They can run earlier windows (even though support has ended or will eventually end), and Linux.
And while I sound like I’m defending Microsoft, this is no different than Apple not supporting older Intel chips on their new OS’s. The big complaint here is the idea that all these unsupported machines are automatically destined for the landfill which I strongly believe is not correct.

Our library does audio books, 3d printer, sound recording (like a small studio), and passes to provincial parks. Some can offer a lot!
