I don’t know. more than 60% of Internet traffic comes from mobile devices, and it keeps increasing
Imhotep@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Why can't we go back to small phones?English284·2 months agopeople spend a third of their lives on those things. And while cumbersome, a big screen simply is better for media consumption
only way I see smaller phones make a comeback is if we change our habits or if a new technology comes along
GNOME Web (Epiphany)
I kind of daily drive it as I made webapps with it for some services I host (which Firefox still doesn’t offer natively)
The UI is quite nice but it isn’t always the smoothest in terms of performances. Still, a very respectable effort

As long as it’s FOSS and doesn’t inherently promote their beliefs, I will use the software.
I agree it’s not great and I’d prefer if it weren’t made by imbeciles
Thank you!
I suppose the article was free for a time if it could be archived? I’ll check next time

I still use yt-dlp to download because I don’t understand Freetube’s options. It’s either only audio or video
Also if you’re on Linux and you get a white screen during playback (has been an issue since 0.22) this fix works for me:
freetube --enable-features=''
edit: posting a vertical pic messes up the webpage a bit. If it’s annoying tell me
