Not lies, because Youtube on android uses something called DroidGuard, while on browser and other platforms, uses something called BotGuard. Their implementation differ, but NewPipe uses DroidGuard and programs like FreeTube and Invidious use BotGuard. So that’s probably the reason why NewPipe still works fine.
Don’t quote me on that tho. But that’s what I know

The limit is 1080p, because there is just a lot of traffic. Allowing more than that, will lower the capacity of people that can watch at the same time

I was going to say this. I’m not even from the United States btw. That’s just how the fediverse and federation works.
Soatok also has a very good post about XMPP
https://soatok.blog/2024/08/14/security-issues-in-matrixs-olm-library/
Matrix is great, but not the best, recently, less than a week ago, the Matrix.org server went down due to a drive failure, so they had to recover all the server data using a backup, so you are better off using a homeserver that is not matrix.org.
Also, all clients of matrix kind of suck. Element desktop is extremely laggy and sluggish to use. Element for Android is deprecated, ElementX, their new android client is not completed and lacks basic features. There is other clients but all of them have their downsides.

Access is restored tho: https://mastodon.social/@netblocks/115170319982458225
Weird move

There is no Steal a Brainrot 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Use bandwhich to see which programs are using traffic ;)
Note: When using a pruned Monero node you can reduce the size from 80GiB to ~25GiB

I don’t think taking screenshots of everything you do every few seconds is telemetry.

And what if I have Instagram but I don’t publish anything on it? lol

+1. Mullvad browser is the best when it comes to browse the clearnet (not Tor). Also, if anyone reading this, do not compile Mullvad browser yourself, only use the official binary from the Mullvad site (or the -bin variant if you use Arch Linux AUR) since from my testing, different compiled versions of Mullvad browsers come with different fingerprints.
Using an optimized build from CachyOS and using it on CreepJS will give you a low amount of visits, same goes with the Flatpak build, but the binary from the Mullvad site gives around 2k views, which means that at least 2k people have the exact same fingerprint as you, but of course, it counts the people that have visited CreepJS to test their fingerprint. There is also fingerprint.com which seems to be wayyy more advanced.

Soooo, how do I access the full article? I have to pay? Lol
JS should have never leaved the Browser side. Now you can use this thing for Backend and is just awful
Ads on child focused apps should be banned. Because big tech literally doesn’t care about the content of the ads and they don’t regulate them. They are full of malware and there was even an ad on YouTube recommending people to install an Adblock.
Get kids out of social media
