Just a heads up in case you haven’t updated firmware on your 980. I wasn’t aware of the problem and lost my c drive a few months back.
Hold up so theyre banning flippers and portapacks etc?
Drum of Swedish Ammonium Perchlorate.
Probably still a proportion of them but it seems they can produce fully domestically now.
UK. Phone local GP, no appointments available for ~3 weeks, maybe get a call back appointment in 2 weeks if I’m lucky. Alternative is to phone every morning between 0830-0900 and either not get through or be told there are still no appointments available.
I have found walk in pharmacists to be well educated (better than many GPs?!) and available without appointment so they’re usually my first port of call.
I know a few producers, the only one who is full time doesn’t really need the money. The rest mostly do muaic tuition or similar, seems like a good match if you know an instrument(s).
I know a remote worker in Iran, went dark for a few days this week. Apparently they can’t call the UK, no internet, ended up relaying messages via a friend in Brazil via sat phone.
Got accused of setting fire to the school. At the time of the fire, I was miles away, taking a music exam, after getting official permission, and being picked up and taken there by my mum. All very easily verifiable. Didn’t stop them from ‘interviewing’ me for 3 hours.
I have the XPPen 24, used similar Wacom before but couldn’t justify the cost, really pleased with it overall, the macro keys and wheels are very useful. Software wise just Photoshop, and occasionally Corel when I want to mess around with digital painting.
Very cool toys, hadn’t seen a one wheeler before
Is that a ground penetrating radar wheelbarrow?!
My time in Northern Thailand made me want to explore over the border. It seems the closer we got to the more remote border regions the more beautiful the landscape became. Some of the Burmese food around Chiang Mai was amongst the best I’ve ever had. Kao Soi in particular, although maybe this is more Burmese influenced than actually Burmese?!
Quest 3 can launch straight into passthrough mode, most games can be played standing or sitting in place (I play in a regular sized living room without moving anything around). It’s actually quicker and easier for me to play in VR than boot up my gaming rig.
Used to work in marketing, UK. There was a frew beer fridge, with instructions to only help yourselves after 1630 on a Friday. Beers at lunch were fairly standard on a Friday, less so on other days but not unheard of.
Undisputed UK champion of pyro cricket.
Add advanced augmented reality and teledildonics, shit is gonna get weird.
You’re expecting privacy in a public space?!
Crofting refers to the land ownership system which is unique to Scotland, and a croft is technically a peice of land, but I’m talking about a crofter’s dwelling. There are a huge number of these derelict centuries old stone buildings which would’ve traditionally housed both livestock and people. They often have a cow shed at a lower level connected to the main dwelling so the heat would rise from the animals.
Deflagration-to-detonation transitions are pretty cool but my all-time favorite would be acoustic strobes.
