I’m in Lesser Carolina. On Tuesday we had an election. Two state level offices. Each one had an incumbent Republican running against a different Republican. The results were basically known before the election happened. So I went in and voted for the non-incumbent just to have something to do. I was the only voter at my place the whole time I was there.
We all pay. That’s how it works. Gas taxes and registration fees. The driver paid for a license. The truck had sales tax. It’s a distributed payment method. Not a pay as needed system. Unless they go on a toll road. But that’s a separate rant.
The data is conflicting. I think they had already made up their mind on that topic before messaging me. My reply just reinforced their decision. It’s hard to separate causation and correlation in that case.
My standard reply was “hailing frequencies open.” Needless to say it was the opening line that let multiple women know that I was single. Surprisingly it had a 100% success rate. I was the best nerd.

Also they are counting the hits and ignoring the misses. They are forgetting that sneaking a backdoor into an open source project is extremely difficult because people are reviewing the code and such a thing will be recognized. So people don’t typically try to sneak back doors in. Also, backdoors have been discovered in an amazing amount of closed source projects where no one was even able to review the code.

I guess if you have no experience with it then that’s a perfect response. Meanwhile I’ve got $72 worth of BAT in mine and if it vanished I’d be perfectly fine losing money I never actually owned. I donate to DDG and Wikipedia each month with mine. That’s money they didn’t have so they are fine with that.

You’d love the opening because it fully supports your view but instead of exploring a few minutes of audio you decided to do research to confirm that you don’t know anything about it and dismissed it without even trying it.

Have you listened to season one of the Martyr Made Podcast? It does a pretty decent job of covering the early 20th century reinvention of Israel long before the 40s. And the baby steps of the apartheid in the later half of that century. Anyway, you keep avoiding my question so I’m going to assume you aren’t arguing in good faith. You have just one side you are willing to discuss and anything on the intent of the other side is something you dodge. You aren’t having a conversation. You are pushing an agenda. And I just don’t have time for that.

I want to be clear on my position so that you don’t argue against something else: I’m not arguing that Israel is in any way justified for their actions of apartheid or their retaliation.
I’m arguing Hamas isn’t going to be happy if the apartheid ends. They want not just the state of Israel destroyed but all Jews dead. Not a few members here or there but the super majority. Claiming that this is just about apartheid is pretending that there isn’t a genocidal goal. That predates the apartheid. It’s what caused Israel to start the apartheid in the first place. It’s a feedback loop. The tighter they squeeze the more martyrs they make. The less the squeeze the more they risk being genocided. It’s a no win situation. Until one side kills the other, per each’s own view of manifest destiny, this will not end.
There is no way the incumbents weren’t going to win. All it does is show the incumbents that they aren’t as secure as they think.
