“Fuck you, I got mine!” Is the GOP motto, after all.
“Fuck you, I got mine!” Is the GOP motto, after all.
“Appoint officials who favor…”
“Direct to consider…”
Where does it say they can deschedule it on a whim?
I never said it was a solution. It should be decriminalized entirely. But in the meantime, decriminalizing it at the state level helps everyone in that state. Any harm reduction is worth doing.
Even the HHS secretary can’t just deschedule a drug on a whim. The HHS secretary has to present evidence that it shouldn’t be scheduled, and then the DEA has to get involved, and it requires input from the public and experts in the field.
The easier solution is for congress to amend the CSA. Putting the blame on Biden is disingenuous, especially given the fact that he’s trying to move things in the right direction.
So if you’re ok with state and local agencies not enforcing federal immigration law, why are federal drug laws different?
I’m also not sure where you got this idea I’d rather have Trump. Overall I’m satisfied with Biden’s performance.
Are you arguing that sanctuary cities are wrong?
The President can’t remove a substance from the Controlled Substances Act. Talk to your representative and senators.
Cannabis is illegal because it’s classified as a schedule I drug in regards to the controlled substances act. Rescheduling it is decriminalizing it.
There’s no reason for you to take this so personally. I’m criticizing your opinion, no need to get defensive.
No, I’m telling you to tell your state to decriminalize it.
So wait for the rescheduling process to be completed. In the meantime, tell your state to decriminalize it so that once the feds are done people stop getting locked up for violating state laws.
Plenty of states have decriminalized it, and work has begun to reschedule it.
I don’t really think it’s up to the President to explain the difference between federal law enforcement and state law enforcement 🤷♂️
So tell your governor to decriminalize it at the state level.
Either way I love the fact these people prove themselves wrong and then go to jail for it
Definitely my favorite part of the story. I’m sure that once the ballots are cast there’s some sort of verification process, because why the hell wouldn’t there be…I guess I’m just confused as to why there’s no verification when the ballots are requested in the first place. It’s one thing to commit identity theft and use a real person’s name and SSN, but the fact that you can just make up a name and SSN and get a ballot sent you you baffles me.
The article was kind of vague, but I read it to mean she obtained the fraudulent ballots using methods available to the public, not in her official capacity.
The article said she sent the fraudulent ballots to her Republican representative, I’m guessing to say “look how easy it is to get fraudulent ballots” since her rep is a conspiracy theorist who thinks the election was stolen. I’m curious if there’s a mechanism in place to catch people obtaining fraudulent ballots who don’t literally send proof of their crime to an elected official.
Ok, it is a bit disconcerting that she was so easily able to fraudulently obtain mail-in ballots. But fraudulent ballots =/= fraudulent votes. I assume there’s a method in place for verifying the authenticity of a mail-in ballot. I’m sure they check it against voter rolls. What was she trying to prove, that it’s too easy to get a mail-in ballot? Not exactly a voter fraud smoking gun 🤷♂️
isn’t the worst offender I’ve seen, but it’s still bullshit. They should never be able to advertise it at $84.99 when there are $30.99 in required fees
One of my favorite Star Trek quotes of all time: “If the invasion had been considered a defeat Gowron would’ve been assassinated by now. He simply declared victory, and went home.”
