Nah, all schools in my home town are Ursuline schools with the one I went to named after Saint Amandina, who was an Ursuline nun, as she was from the part of town the founders of the school were from.

These nuns have a nack for education and healthcare (a crapton of hospitals here are Amandina founded) and if I recall correctly, even founded some liberal arts schools in the US at some point.

From what I understand from the nuns I’ve been in contact with through the years, they aren’t as bookish as Jesuits, but are 100% behind the idea that “if you teach people the whole picture, they will eventually find God” as the sheer wonder of the universe to them can only mean their deity exists.

So no, 2.5" HDD’s still are an utterly dead end of technology.

Especially with these and some other vendors, the USB interface is part of the drive (there’s no SATA port on them), so you can’t swap them or take them out for data recovery. They are HDD tech, which doesn’t do shocks or any other sort of roughhousing, they are slow as shit and use far more power than any NVMe drive.

Because you flex and replug the interface often.

The thing you use to plug your phone, tablet, drives and other things with is very often the failure point unless you break screens or get water in them.

Normally you simply have a HDD drive with a SATA interface in there, so if the USB connector fails, you can still easily recover your data.

With these things, you’re lucky if they even offer the possibility of repairing or recovering the drive.

On linux, where the config file for a specific program is, can vary annoyingly greatly depending on what distro you’re using and sometimes the same config file exists in several places and somehow certain parts of the configuration parameters get taken from several of those files, so if you think you’ve found what the actual config file should be and remove the duplicates, suddenly the program uses defaults or doesn’t even work at all.
