How much did you pay for that? He gets 0.5 TB for 48 $ per year, presumably including 24/7 availability, redundancy, etc. And not just included but without having to manage anything.

So I assume the sensors simply failed completely after that, why else would they not test it longer or withhold the results? Quote:
Researchers tested them at different bending speeds:
838.9 mV at 100 bends/hour 856.7 mV at 200 bends/hour 852.6 mV at 400 bends/hour
Even after hundreds of cycles, the signal stayed strong, proving these sensors can handle repetitive movement without breaking down.
This kind of reliability is huge for prosthetic limbs, fitness trackers, and robotic arms, where precision and durability are non-negotiable.

Eheran@lemmy.worldto Not The Onion@lemmy.world•'Hetero Awesome Fest' planned for Idaho capitol during LGBTQ Pride MonthEnglish12·9 days agoI said it has a very different gravity depending on how old the person saying it is. Do you agree or not? Why?
Eheran@lemmy.worldto Not The Onion@lemmy.world•'Hetero Awesome Fest' planned for Idaho capitol during LGBTQ Pride MonthEnglish210·10 days agoHappy child free, may I ask how old you are roughly? Because to me it seems that this number and that happiness correlate strongly inversely. People are more and more lonely. Less family, fewer siblings, no children, …
There sure are people of any age that are happy without children (or generally with or without anything). But since you mention this and me seeing that correlation: I have to ask. If you are 30 that is essential meaningless, like saying you do not care about pensions. If you are 60 both statements carry a lot more weight.

I always find it very odd when someone reports about scams without ever specifying how they actually scam people. So everyone goes “that would never happen to me”. If you actually lay out how they do it, many would be “huh? Fuck”.
Holy cow :O

An asshole spread a private picture, next to nobody is going to know who this person was. Those who know him are less likely to act and might even believe a story he told.
Then others share it and the best you can do is say “fuck off” when someone sends a rather random picture to you.

[…] and no one – not one man – is calling them out. They’re patting each other on the back.”
Huh? Should we be looking for such things all day long (there are slightly more than one problematic one) and telling them how they suck? Of course they pat each other on the back. The same way fascists do to their kind. What an odd way to think, while making money by selling pictures to exactly such crazy things.
Please, do elaborate. Let others feast on your suffering.
Eheran@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•Temu, Shein & Co: Zurich Airport in Switzerland struggling with massive flood of parcels from China that is delaying the delivery of medicinesEnglish71·19 days agoSounds like a lot of this problem is down to the airport or whoever manages that itself. So unlike everyone else here simply hating Temu, if they make deals with them that result in other packages getting delayed… that is not Temus fault. Upgrade your operations, prioritize medicine more than Temu.
Things I think about, which would be interesting to know, perhaps I missed something. Please share your experiences:
How many hours did it take you to set everything up? How much did you eventually spend for everything combined? What are the running costs? How much space does it gobble up? How loud is it? Backup/redundancy plan? Internet connection good enough (upload speed)?
