Oh, Im in northern europe and made in Japan / Taiwan / Korea / China (except lately for the last one) never had any such connotations. I remember Japan and West Germany/Germany as high standard. Still got some West Germany workshop tools I inherited from grandpa, and those might be made to US standards due to US influence in the german reconstruction effort.

Maybe you know why does my microSD card get corrupted any time its pulled unless “ejected”? I need to either “eject” if its on my computer or completely power down the device to keep it from corrupting. Ive tested in both camera and 3dprinter with same result.

If MS cant be expected to vet every driver they push with their autoupdater they shouldnt push drivers with the same tool that autoupdates their OS. Make one or the other. I see a use for autoupdate only MS products and a triggered updater for drivers that only gets used by the error wizard with a user prompt(whtever they call it) if they want to be able to claim no responsibility
