“Look what you made me do!” - Every domestic abuser ever
I watched Space Jam with my daughter last night.
Wow what a fucking turd. I remembered it so fondly too, in reality I think theres about 30 minutes of closeups on Michael Jordans face.
Yes, thats what the very next sentence of my post was getting it.
Thank the both of you for summing up my point better than I did.
Not just that they exist but that they are a fucking huge drain on society.
As much as Billionaires are a cancer and the world would be better without them, Jeff Bezos never smashed the window on my car to steal my speakers, he doesnt come out vandalising public transport or parks and he isnt the reason my wife doesnt feel safe walking around at night. Billionaires are the reason we dont get more nice things, these assholes are the reasons we cant keep the ones we have.
They also make any sort of socialistic change harder, because any time you try to help the “underprivileged” anyone who wants to oppose it can hold up one of these wastes of oxygen and use them as the spokesperson.
A small but notable percentage of low income, low education people are just fuckwits who make terrible decisions. They had access to opportunities, they could have overcome their circumstances with just a little effort but smoking cones and stealing shit was less effort so they did that and these people are a comparable drain on society as the uber rich.
Cover it in “Coexist” stickers and other “Woke” sentiments then join a Hummer club or some shit.
Like if I got offered a cheap Hummer now, Id probably drive it for the lulz for a while.
If you’re a government worker in a non allied country and an attractive stranger wants to touch your dingle, its a honeypot.
Its surprisingly good for car parts and tools.
I always check AliExpress for anything thats relatively simple in construction but complicated to make, the kind of thing that chain stores will buy by the 100,000 at a time, put their own sticker on it and call it their store brand. The factory makes the 100,000 for the chain store, changes the paint color and cranks out 1000 for themselves to sell on AliExpress.
You mean after gold and diamonds essentially become worthless? A lot of people would definitely use it for medications.
Finding a brand of protein bar that you genuinely enjoy eating is a huge deal.
I have my preferred brand and when I have 1 or 2 I feel like I just had some chocolate bars, while its still a fair chunk of calories its also 50g of protein and not much fat or sugar.
I track my macros. I have a jar of Chilli Crisp and a jar of hot honey on hand at all times.
If I make my lean chicken tacos for dinner and Ive got a bunch of carbs left i put the hot honey on, if I have fats left over I use the Chilli Crisp, if Im running light on both just a small pinch of chilli powder.
Thats why Intermittent fasting works so well for some people. I’m great at absolutes, I can not eat way easier than I can just do small portions.
It sounds super counter intuitive but I recommend newbies weigh themselves multiple times a day for the first few weeks or months and write down the date and time of each new low (or use a tracking app) to get used to the idea that your weight fluctuates wildly throughout the day.
Just because you got a bad weigh-in doesnt mean the diet didnt do anything all week. A salty carb heavy meal last night (that was still within calories) can fuck up a weigh-in bigtime.
I know it happens for real but when I read about soldiers dead in a mysterious “training accident” I do wonder what black op went bad.
Literally slapped?
Its the drawn out bullshit that I have no patience for, its a midseason game between two teams who arent going to make the finals… calm the fuck down.
It has also been ruled in court (I think in Australia but I dont remember for certain) that it is legally binding as a verbal agreement.
Basically a farmer sent a message to a wholesaler saying “Hey, I need to double my stock feed order for next quarter” or something like that, the supplier sent back a thumbs up. So the delivery arrived and it was only the regular amount. The farmer had to buy the extra amount at retail prices and it cost him tens of thousands more, so he sued for damages. The supplier argued that text messages and thumbs up werent the correct ordering procedure and that he wasnt liable, the court ruled effectively that “Then you should have said that. A thumbs up is a general term of positive response to a question or statement and in this case constitutes acceptance of a verbal agreement” and had to cough up.
Found the case, it was Canada and the farmer F-ed up not the supplier.
Just to throw this in. If you use this, check your voicemails.
I often have to call customers to check ambiguities in their orders and people just dont return calls. Our contracts clearly state that in the event that you cant be contacted we arent responsible for any errors.
