Lemmy and the Fediverse are a perfect replacement for Reddit.
For Facebook I don’t know as it’s more about the willingness of people around you to try something else.

Still, I don’t really know what to think about it as I’d just want the creators to move willingly to another platform.
Having music in peertube would be nice, but I think the artist would have to have some kind of paywall or a Patreon…

Agreed, but carrying two phones, charging them and paying for them would be too annoying and wasteful.
But I know that my employer could see a lot of my infos if he wanted to. Luckily I trust my employer way more than all these companies like Apple or Google who already have acces to our data.
Yeah and let’s not forget that depending on your job it’s doable.
My employer is giving me an iphone so I can’t use anything else except if I had a second phone, which would be really annoying for me.
Apple is bad, but still probably better than Google when it comes to privacy.

Yeah and the arrival of the mobile app with the ability to log into your account is a huge step.
The next step would be to be able to lock some content for people who are not supporting creators (to motivate creators to post on peertube and make money with it).

I think every creator should be contacted before doing duch a thing and I guess a lot would not agree since most of them wouldn’t make any money on Peertube except if people support them through something like Patreon.
Oh good. I’m happy with Lemmy/voyager so I wouldn’t want to switch. Let’s hope they implement it at one point 🤞
