Gruvbox: You can’t hate it until you’ve tried it; And then you’ll love it
Too many hash tags and mentions. Lemmy is obviously superior to Mastodon

I don’t understand. What was the problem with Rust?
The ultimate test for a Lemmy reader app: does it seg fault?
I didn’t realize you could customize the window borders on i3!
I was just offering the other option. Feel free to use whatever you want!
Is 20 workspaces really neccesary?
Text version:
Downloaded a virus for Linux lately and
unpacked it.
Tried to run it as root, didn’t work.
Googled for 2 hours, found out that
instead of /usr/local/bin
the virus
unpacked to /usr/bin
for which the
user malware doesn’t have any write
permissions, therefore the virus couldn’t
create a process file.
Found patched .configure and .make
files on some Chinese forum, recompiled
and rerun it.
The virus said it needs the library
cmalw-lib-2.0
.Turns out
cmalw-lib-2.0
is shipped with CentOS
but not with Ubuntu. Googled for hours
again and found an instruction to build
a.deb package from source.
The virus finally started, wrote some
logs, made a core dump and crashed.
After 1 hour of going through the logs
I discovered the virus assumed it was
running on ext4 and called into its disk
encryption API. Under btrfs this API
is deprecated. The kernel noticed and
made this partition read-only
Opened the sources, grep’ed the Bitcoin wallet and sent $5 out of pity.
Oh, I must have missed that! But I do agree that omz is a little bloated. I’ll have to look into antidote, tho
I like how you didn’t use a plugin manager for your zsh config. I’ll have to look into adding the git repo to my prompt
Question: do you like the text min/max/close buttons over colored circles or icons?
Well I guess you could say the tools that integrate with pip are really good, then
What’s so bad about pip? Imho, the venv thing is really nice
That is a really good article to teach about concurrency!
I’ve never seen that many zsh aliases! Do you really use all of them? I feel like I would forget!
