18·2 months agoSchools are obsessed with academics because they tend to be more easily measurable. Therefore, they are spending less time building character, morals, and thinking skills. Teaching them how to be a good person is more important than ever.

41·2 months agoI’m in my 40s and have come to realize that the unions that are worth a damn are the ones that exercise the strike on a regular basis. Striking is a revolutionary act and it should be normalized as it is in other countries.

22·2 months agoI guess I will sound a little crazy, but the way Samsung phones can just plug into a monitor and become a desktop seems like it has a much bigger potential to change the way we use computers than what Microsoft is doing. Microsoft products are so half-assed these days, you can barely work in the cloud let alone get a spreadsheet to fill in cells the way you expect.


It’s interesting because Japan has traditionally been very big on physical media. I guess Sony PlayStation has had some foreign CEOs recently that may be a factor??
